Bought a new Tiguan that was missing a key fob. The key fob was ordered. It had to be programmed. I got to the dealership and my car was taken in within five minutes. terrible experience! VW Passat my battery kept going "dead". Change battery, (mine was a new one but they insisted I needed a VW battery)! Then my radio was draining battery, change radio, change Computer, another week, take the chip out of car. Then a couple days later dead battery again, I called they are all booked but drop the car off and leave it, what about a loaner? Sorry no loaner until the end of August! How could they not have a loaner car for a month!! So thousands of $$'s later, they could not fix it, Did I really need all that other stuff? $3400.00 later and I still have no car, my fault to trust. People were professional enough but maybe they fall short in the Technician dept.?My review 1/2 a star for talking to me. Do NOT bring your car there. More
Caution! Last time I will use Toms River VW. My daughters 2015 Jetta Sport went in for an oil change. $90 for an oil change and they told her she needed an Ai Last time I will use Toms River VW. My daughters 2015 Jetta Sport went in for an oil change. $90 for an oil change and they told her she needed an Air Filter ( I Already replaced it the day before) Spark plugs for $300 (she has 49K miles, manual states 60K replace) and stated she needed front brake pads and rotors $600.00. Told them to finish oil change and write up estimate for items. Took her car to another shop. They stated plugs were not needed yet and that the front brakes were still 50%. Rear brakes were about 15% and suggest replacement. Replaced rear pads and rotors for $305. I have purchased multiple VW from this dealer and serviced them all here. At one time we had 3 VW in household. Will never use dishonest dealer again. Beware! She stated service writer was nice though while trying to upsell. To top it off they never reset her service reminder on the car. More
Bought my car here and told first 3 oil changes are free...not true! Best part is while I was here arguing this point, they were telling another customer the same thing. Till i had a problem with the air conditioning this summer and they had no room to get me in. To today when my 1 year old car had a check engine light come on and a coolant light co.e on. Says stop do not drive bring to nearsest dealer. I call last night manager tells me to be there at 8am. Brought my car in they cant look at it today because no "A" level techs in no loaner cars. Rude and nasty people. NEVER NEVER NEVER USE THIS VW DEALER. THEY ARE HORRIBLE. CANT EVEN GIVE THEM 1 STAR. NO REDEEMING QUALITY HERE!!!-- More
Do not purchase a used care here! Manager stated car was certified pre-owned but as soon as there was a problem I was told that was not the case. Service charged for work not preformed and lied about it Came for oil and tire rotation like last time. I did not believe that my tires were rotated last time , so this time i marked the back tires. After waiting 2 hours i was told that my car is ready. The back tires with the mark were still in the back, I questioned the tech Butler Kevin if he did rotate the wheals. He replayed that he did, then I showed him the marks i made. Hi sad well it is very busy today... that is also the excuse i got why the car was not washed. The service manager was not there, spoke with sales manager got my money back and left. I was going to purchase another car from here soon but this is a third strike with service for me. Time to buy a Honda or Toyota. More
