I had a very specific car I was looking to purchase, the dealership did not have the car in stock. I asked if they could get it, they were unwilling to go outside of their normal search area. I then broad dealership did not have the car in stock. I asked if they could get it, they were unwilling to go outside of their normal search area. I then broadened my criteria for the new vehicle. They said they could get the vehicle in three (3) days, I said ok and put down a $500 deposit. Five days later I still did not hear anything about the vehicle. I called back mid-day on the 5th day to get an update, my phone call was not returned until 9pm that evening saying that he did not have an update. He said he would speak to the general manager and get back to me by mid-day the following day, 2pm rolls around still no return phone call. I called up my sales rep. once again, he proceeded to tell me that the car had not been ordered because they needed my signature on a document in order to place the order for the vehicle. He then proceeded to tell me that the manager would call me back in 1/2 hour; he did not. I waited nearly two (2) hours. Nothing. I would stay far away. More

My wife was quoted a price over the internet for a new Jetta, with manual transmission. We drove the 50 minutes to this dealer, took a test drive in an automatic and were ready to sign papers if they coul Jetta, with manual transmission. The finance manager than tried to double charge us for destination/delivery which was included in the quoted price and was in writing that he didn't want to read, so he told us that was his final price and we left. Got home and received a phone call from the internet salesperson and relayed our concerns on to the Sales Manager. He called us and told us that it was included and that the Finance Manager was incorrect and asked if we could drive back the 50 minutes to sign papers. We asked if the car was going to be on the lot and he asked if we signed papers that day he would take another $100 off the price and fill the tank of the new vehicle and my vehicle and we could pick the car up the next week. So we drove back up there with our 3 kids and signed papers. The day before we were to pick up the new car, my wife called our insurance agent to make sure they had been contacted about the new car and that we were good to go. She had heard nothing so they than proceeded to call the dealership to get info. The salesperson Steve, said the car was not there yet, but when it did he would call. The day of pick up, my wife called the Sales Manager to make sure that the vehicle was going to be there, since the salesman was very nonchalant about it. He checked and than informed us that the car we wanted was not available and they could not get us one. So, they sold us a car they couldn't get and wasted a day of our time. We were offered an automatic model if we of course paid more, but we ended up passing and discontinuing our relationship with this dealer. Overall this was the worse buying experience of a big ticket item that I have ever had. I believe lack of experience and training was a big culprit in this situation. I will say that Jay the Sales Manager did try and help us the best he could. More

The saleman as well as the manager were wonderful! I was incredibly difficult to deal with as I waivered for days on my decision. They were proactive, understanding and patient. This was my second Car from WORLD, I bought my first one from the Neptune location. I went to Toms River for service because it was convenient to where I work. While I was there, I spoke with Bill Sherman about my options because my lease was almost up. I ended up leaving with a new Jetta that afternoon! Bill was super friendly and energetic, and he was really honest with me. He worked hard and got me an incredible deal and made the financing easy. The dealership itself is modern and bright, they did a great job! I wasn't planning on a new car that visit but Bill and James made me a great offer I couldn't refuse, and were so friendly that I had no second thoughts about it. I signed and drove away!
