No pressure. As he said, "the car sells itself, I can only mess things up." He quoted me a good price with minimal - if any - haggling, and let me be on my way with contact info and no "You have to buy today" gimmicks. Mike promptly followed up and we made a deal. The whole process was smooth and painless. Signing the final papers and getting everything squared away took quite a while, (several hours including a break for lunch on my part) but Mike and the others at Tom's were more than accommodating. When I went into Toms and started working with my saleswoman Debbie Wagner, my assumption and expectations immediately went out the window! Not only was Debbie and the team knowledgeable on the subject matter but they were more than willing to work with me and my budget without the usual hassle and business mentality to help me purchase the 2011 Ford 150 I really had my heart set on instead of trying to sell me a vehicle on the lot or way out of my price range. I’m still astonished on how great of a price Tom’s Ford sold me the truck for! I can honestly say that my family and I will always be customers of Tom’s Ford for all of our car buying needs! This was the smoothest, most stress-free experience we have ever had with leasing a car. Alonza Gilchrist is an excellent Sales Supervisor, who helped make our experience a great one. We had called him prior to coming to the site, and he was ready to help us when we walked in the door. He listened to what we wanted and related all of this information to our salesman, Mike Candeloro. Alonza continued to check in on us during our visit, to insure that everything was going the way we wanted. I might add it was very, very busy at the dealership that day, and we were still made to feel that we were the highest priority. Mike Candeloro was very accommodating and attentive, and gave his all to help us, by showing us several cars (moving cars around and bringing them to us since it was freezing and raining). Scott Nusbaum made the financing portion of our deal easy, and took the time to explain everything in detail. Tom's Ford is best dealership in New Jersey, thanks to the great staff! More

I leased my 2008 Ford Fusion From Toms Ford and They called about getting out of my lease early. My experience with Tom's Ford -- and specifically, my salesman Chris Fennen -- was far beyond what I expected. I walked in and immediately was treated with respect. Even though I admitted I was not ther salesman Chris Fennen -- was far beyond what I expected. I walked in and immediately was treated with respect. Even though I admitted I was not there to buy a car "on the spot," Chris answered all my questions and even presented me with a few options. He gave me a few brochures and his number, and told me to call him with any questions. NO high-pressure sales tactics. I came in twice more before I signed the papers and ordered my new custom Ford Explorer. NEVER once was I pressured into a decision on the spot or into purchasing a vehicle or options I did not want (which in today's market means a lot). Chris met our whole family, and treated us all with kindness and understanding. When we picked up the new SUV, he went over every feature with detail. He has even followed up a few times to ask us how we like the new Ford. I have owned my new Ford for almost a year now. I LOVE IT !!! The entire staff -- from sales to parts to service -- whether they sold us the car or just knew us from the dealership -- has always been helpful and friendly. I HIGHLY recommend Chris Fennen and Tom's Ford to anyone interested in purchasing a Ford product. I know I will not buy a vehicle from any other dealer. I have been leasing Cadillac's for 20 years & decided to take a look at the Lincoln MKX. I was very pleased with the way I was treated. Enrico was easy to deal with and very accomadating. He had to search high & low for the vehicle I wanted, and although it took a while he did come through for me.I am pleased with the experience there, the whole financing experience also went well, Scott was also very nice. And I'm getting use to driving my new vehicle although I haven't driven too much lately due to the ridiculous amount of snow. More
About 13-15 years ago I had a Explorer leased from this dealership and terrible experience with Service Dept. My husband liked sales person at the time (Keith; who surprisingly recognized us after so many dealership and terrible experience with Service Dept. When he mentioned possibility of a Ford I was very sceptical about Ford explorer and more so about dealership. He did all research online and at the end contacted Tom's Ford and got Charlie Schaugh. Charlie was extremly professional and he clearly enjoyed his work. It took several days for me to even consider going to look at the car (Explorer 2011 looked fabulous online)but I had a lot of lingering doubts. At the end, miles per gallon were very hard to ignore so I took plunge and went to dealership to see cars for myself and I met Charlie and Debbie Wagner. I am real estate broker by trade and have very specific needs - Debbie was fabulous showing me all wonderful features that Explorer has that are great for me; after driving it I really appreciate them more and more. Both of them really worked very hard to accommodate me: getting the car I wanted, readdy to go when I wanted at the time when I had to have car ..etc. They both went out of their way and nothing was a problem. Being in customer service industry myself I totally relate. Both of them truly made whole process smooth and easy. I know it was not; we are as demanding as you can get and have high expectations. I know I drove them crazy about running board - I wish my explorer has one because it is still not easy to get in in skirt and high hils; being 6.5 inches lower did not completely eliminate problem. I took my office for a ride and everyone was pleasantly surprised how smooth ride is and how nice and roomy inside of a car is. My kids love it. My clients are remarking on how beautiful car is and I am still learning how to use features(don't have time to read manual!). I sincerely hope that Service Dept will live up to standard of service Debbie and Charlie set up. More
