Made an appointment and went out of my way to come buy the Ford Mustang GT500 and they were utterly rude , unprofessional and unprepared. The unprofessional sales lady was convinced from one look at us that we “couldn’t afford the expensive specialty vehicles “ inside the tiny showroom. She ushered us immediately outside to the “affordable “ cars. We repeated we weren’t concerned about price but more about features as this was a leisure car as a gift for myself. She showed me to car and had ME remove all the plastic inside on the chairs , shifter etc… and then had us wait outside 15min in the cold while she got the keys. We finally got inside and she asked US to check the gas which turned out to be completely on empty. She left for another 15min and then said we needed to get out so she could drive the car to get gas. We begrudgingly obliged and when we went inside the showroom and asked why we couldn’t test drive the car we came to buy the manager echoed what the sales woman had said “ it’s only for serious buyers” and I said “ so I can’t test drive it because you don’t think I’m a serious buyer?” He said yes. I took my wife and left the empty dealership and took my business elsewhere. How do these places stay in business? More
