And the update did not fix the problem . Another dead battery , put the battery charge on, charged enough for a 1/2 hr. trip back to Subaru to insist on a new battery. As soon as I began to explain what I was dealing with , the service guy began to talk over me. It would be good customer service to listen first . End result was a new battery installed. Hoping now the alternator is good and not draining the battery. Trusting not having to make multiple trips to this Subaru because issues not fixed the first time .
