My wife went into service today at Tom Peacock Cadillac, N. Fwy location with a concern about a burning smell in our 2023 CT5 that we've only had a month. She was told we ran over a plastic bag that was cau N. Fwy location with a concern about a burning smell in our 2023 CT5 that we've only had a month. She was told we ran over a plastic bag that was causing the burning smell. She was also told the service department would have to charge her to remove what was left of the bag. Also told her she should just drive the vehicle until the rest of the plastic burnt off. This is a safety issue because burning plastic puts off fumes that can be harmful to someone especially in the close confines of a car's interior. Here's another typical case of a female getting the run around when it comes to car service. The service department already has the car on a lift. Supposedly identified the source of the smell but refused to remove what they could because they said the plastic is in areas where parts would have to be removed to remove the plastic. I call xx on this and pure LAZINESS on part of the service department! I am not a very happy customer because they did not want to help my wife because something like this is preventive maintenance that could cause a more serious situation later on holding Cadillac responsible. Bad service today and I'll remember this going forward. More

He started to look into a monitor himself and mumbled to them them if they heard him. He repeated 3 times to them as to what he was needing and they still didn't know what he needed. Took my vehicle in for service and they changed alternator and a sensor 2 days later vehicle had same issue. Took my vehicle back they changed my dash cluster and 2 days later very same issue. Spen alternator and a sensor 2 days later vehicle had same issue. Took my vehicle back they changed my dash cluster and 2 days later very same issue. Spent $2,300 to no success of vehicle being repaired. Not to mention that I've been out of a vehicle for over a month and a week and never was l offered a loaner. I could never get in contact with the service rep. I understand that cars can be complex at time but continue to pay for the same problem is not good business practice along with poor communication! I asked if I could return the loaner car on my day off 6/23/21 because I work from 5:30 am to 7:00 p.m sometimes I have to work overtime. I received threats from spear Pittman my service advisor and Lori Jenkins. They called and texted twice a day sometimes at 12:00 a.m. I was told I would have to pay late fee and 75 dollar rental fee. I had to leave my job 3 hours early to return a loaner car. They were very unprofessional. More
