My wife went into service today at Tom Peacock Cadillac, N. Fwy location with a concern about a burning smell in our 2023 CT5 that we've only had a month. She was told we ran over a plastic bag that was cau N. Fwy location with a concern about a burning smell in our 2023 CT5 that we've only had a month. She was told we ran over a plastic bag that was causing the burning smell. She was also told the service department would have to charge her to remove what was left of the bag. Also told her she should just drive the vehicle until the rest of the plastic burnt off. This is a safety issue because burning plastic puts off fumes that can be harmful to someone especially in the close confines of a car's interior. Here's another typical case of a female getting the run around when it comes to car service. The service department already has the car on a lift. Supposedly identified the source of the smell but refused to remove what they could because they said the plastic is in areas where parts would have to be removed to remove the plastic. I call xx on this and pure LAZINESS on part of the service department! I am not a very happy customer because they did not want to help my wife because something like this is preventive maintenance that could cause a more serious situation later on holding Cadillac responsible. Bad service today and I'll remember this going forward. More
Firstly I will say the one star is for Walter with whom I dealt with in the purchase of an Infiniti QX80. He was great with communication and very helpful, even when he was on vacation. Unfortunately Walter is not given the tools he needs to succeed to be an honest used car dealer. Walter is it seems as stated by himself via email only inspecting cars by photographs. The vehicle I purchased was described as in "Impeccable Condition". This was a used vehicle and in no way was I expecting perfection. Some signs of wear are expected but to find a cracked windscreen and a defective climate control system was really disappointing and has left me with $2000 repairs. I will be very interested to hear if the business does think that this is acceptable. Please do always have an inspection done prior to purchase, even from a reputable dealer. I have e-mailed Steve after leaving a voicemail as requested, so far no response. Walter did call me and asked what apart from receiving the repairs to the vehicle would make me take down my review. I must say, an apology and someone to admit that a $2000 repair bill on an impeccable car is not acceptable would be nice, More

Mike told me helping me was a conflict of interest, and that I wasn't the person who's credit they pulled." Mike makes Tom Peacock look like they conduct very shady business. More
