We have been buying cars/trucks from Tom Gill since 1998! So far my husband and I have gotten 1 truck and 2 cars, my son a truck and my daughter & son-in-law a car. In fact I was there last night getting my intermediate service done, and new tires for the winter (FREE through their Tire Loyalty service). More
I have been with people at this dealership for many years and very happy with them. The other day I had a little problem with the car and it had to stay at the shop over night and Mike was so nice and helpf and very happy with them. When I picked up the car the next day, Mike took the time to explain what was needed. I am very pleased and happy to have him on board. Thank you JS More

I have a lifetime warranty on my vehicle from tom gill as long as I get my service done at that location. I just called to get my oil changed and the woman on the other end informed me that the garage was g long as I get my service done at that location. I just called to get my oil changed and the woman on the other end informed me that the garage was going to be closed for another 4 days due to garage floor resurfacing. I understand that maintenance like this has to be done to their buildings, but what about the customers that are locked into having their service done there to keep their waranty? I asked the woman (who was very rude) if I could just get my oil changed at a different place and keep the waranty. The woman said "I don't know" then sat there in silence.... I asked her if she could find someoene who could answer that question. The woman said there was a "service advisor downstairs she could ask" then proceeded to hang up on me. Every experience I have ever had with tom's place has been a bad one... I don't know why Tom is letting his staff destroy his name. I will still continue to tell everyone to stay away from this place. More
I am an over the road trucker so I have very little amount of time to spend at home with my family. I went to Gills place for regular service. I drive a Chevy pick up. They tried to get me to buy brakes for my vehicle and they just put new brakes on it 3500 miles ago - at GILLs place. I asked the guy if he was trying to pull a fast one and he said that I really needed brakes. I went to the back and looked at them and they were shot. Tells me the brakes I paid for the last time I was there were never put on. What an outfit. I told them to forget me ever going back there and went to another place. cheats and liars - they acted like I was an idiot util I showed them my receipt. Then they put the brakes on fro free. More
I am so sick of driving to Tom GIll Chevrolet for "Electrical Problems" with my car! I'm sick of Tom Gill they want to keep charging me over and over and over for the same issues they didn't fix in the first place. And I keep having thermostat problems as well. I would love to be able to take this pos back and take my business elsewhere to Toyota or Honda where they make real lasting quality vehicles. I previously have had 3 different hondas and never had one problem out of them. One was a 89 accord that was my dads, I drove in HS he sold it with 300,000miles and still running. I will be lucky go get another 300 out of this pos! I hate all the sales people they are so fake, and the service sucks! More
i have been a customer here for several years and have always been very well taken care of by jeanie. she is great and the rest of the staff are very friendly. the only suggestion i would have is to get r always been very well taken care of by jeanie. she is great and the rest of the staff are very friendly. the only suggestion i would have is to get rid of the sceduling people that are out-of-town because they are also out-of-touch! but kudos to the entire service dept for always keeping it very simple to do business with them. I bought my car new at Tom Gill Chevrolet and have taken it there for servicing ever since. I had to have some work done, and it was clear that the car was never inspected or test driven after the work was it there for servicing ever since. They put their usual spin on it and thew money at it, but I just can't take my car there for servicing anymore. They had three days to do a job that should have taken less than a day, and it still isn't done right. I have a noise coming from the front of the car now that sounds like something rubbing against the tire or the tire wobbling against something. I am not sure if they broke or damaged something or what, but I just can't trust them anymore. If their mechanics/techs didn't do something right or damaged something on my car while working on it and it causes me to crash, well will I even survive the crash? More
I went to Gills place for some work on my car and I needed some regular maitenance as well. I got an estimate on the work - HOLY COW! When I asked what they charged for labor by the hour, they gave me the run around and were difficult to pin down to exact numbers, but when I finally wrestled it out of them it was $115 an hour. That is highway robbery. No wonder they have that giant building, they are ripping off their service customers. I went to Robke's place the labor for the same job $75. Thats $40 an hour less. I saved $120 on labor alone by leaving Gills place. I bought my car from Gill, and they are overcharging me - their own customer? I will never go back there. When I called back to tell them how much I saved, they acted like they had such better mechanics. Don't believe it - all the mechanics are GM mechanics at the dealerships. It surely is not worth $40 more an hour. That's highway robbery! Keep your money in your pocket - stay away from Gills place. He must have a huge payment on that huge building and he is trying to make it on one customer. That won't be me. More
