Very Dissatisfied With This Dealership. Me and my Very Dissatisfied With This Dealership. Me and my fiance stopped in about 3 weeks ago to test drive a nissan xterra. I asked the sales person if we Very Dissatisfied With This Dealership. Me and my fiance stopped in about 3 weeks ago to test drive a nissan xterra. I asked the sales person if we could test drive it. We walked inside to get the keys then he came back with a questionnaire. We filled out the questionnaire unrelated to the test drive then he started talking about another xterra they had on the lot. I didnt care about any other vehicle. I came to test drive the want I want to see. We sat around for about 20 minutes until I got tired of waiting and just got up and left. Last monday I called to schedule a test drive, we had a different salesman and everything went alot smoother. When we got there he had the keys and the carfax in his hand. After the test drive we ended up buying the vehicle. we did not even haggle much since Riley did a great job having everything prepped before we got there. We also got a extended service contract. Everything was fine and dandy untill today when I tried to fill it up with gas. it was close to Empty and it wouldnt take no more than 1-3 gallons with out kicking the gas station pump off. I tried multiple pumps and stations all do the same thing. After about 20 minutes messing with it and getting gas all over the side of my vehicle. I was able to get the level high enough to make it through the week. When I got home I called the extended vehicle service company "EASYCARE" and was told they only cover the fuel tank and not the filler neck. So I called Tom Gill Chevrolet and was told that I had to bring it in and PAY to get it diagnosed and that i was covered if it was the fuel tank. but if its the filler neck then I had to PAY again to get it fixed. I already paid for the vehicle once. Im not going to pay for something they should of fixed before it was even put on the lot. To sum it all up, Tom Gill Chevrolet sells broke vehicles and expects you to pay them to fix them as soon as you drive it off the lot. More
I went in looking for a 2010 Chevy Aveo that was on sale. The guys worked very hard and were able to find me a car that their lot was out of. I went into Tom Gill Looking to buy a new family car for my wife. I was quickly greeted by Sarah and shown around the lot, she was very polite and professional. I have a lifetime warranty on my vehicle from tom gill as long as I get my service done at that location. I just called to get my oil changed and the woman on the other end informed me that the garage was g long as I get my service done at that location. I just called to get my oil changed and the woman on the other end informed me that the garage was going to be closed for another 4 days due to garage floor resurfacing. I understand that maintenance like this has to be done to their buildings, but what about the customers that are locked into having their service done there to keep their waranty? I asked the woman (who was very rude) if I could just get my oil changed at a different place and keep the waranty. The woman said "I don't know" then sat there in silence.... I asked her if she could find someoene who could answer that question. The woman said there was a "service advisor downstairs she could ask" then proceeded to hang up on me. Every experience I have ever had with tom's place has been a bad one... I don't know why Tom is letting his staff destroy his name. I will still continue to tell everyone to stay away from this place. More
I am an over the road trucker so I have very little amount of time to spend at home with my family. I went to Gills place for regular service. I drive a Chevy pick up. They tried to get me to buy brakes for my vehicle and they just put new brakes on it 3500 miles ago - at GILLs place. I asked the guy if he was trying to pull a fast one and he said that I really needed brakes. I went to the back and looked at them and they were shot. Tells me the brakes I paid for the last time I was there were never put on. What an outfit. I told them to forget me ever going back there and went to another place. cheats and liars - they acted like I was an idiot util I showed them my receipt. Then they put the brakes on fro free. More
I am so sick of driving to Tom GIll Chevrolet for "Electrical Problems" with my car! I bought my car in February and have probably taken it back to the dealership 10 times for the same electrical pro "Electrical Problems" with my car! I'm sick of Tom Gill they want to keep charging me over and over and over for the same issues they didn't fix in the first place. And I keep having thermostat problems as well. I would love to be able to take this pos back and take my business elsewhere to Toyota or Honda where they make real lasting quality vehicles. I previously have had 3 different hondas and never had one problem out of them. One was a 89 accord that was my dads, I drove in HS he sold it with 300,000miles and still running. I will be lucky go get another 300 out of this pos! I hate all the sales people they are so fake, and the service sucks! More
