Best GMC/ Buick Dealership in Michigan...hands down! Can't say enough about Larry White and his team at Todd Wenzel! We have purchased multiple vehicles from Mr. White and the experience has been awesome Can't say enough about Larry White and his team at Todd Wenzel! We have purchased multiple vehicles from Mr. White and the experience has been awesome. It's disappointing that people only come online and give ratings when people slip up...mistakes will happen, but I have never experienced this at Todd Wenzel GMC/ Buick! More

I left within 5 minutes of the call and drove the 35 minutes to the Todd Wenzel dealership. Out came a nice gentleman, I told him wanted to see the Saturn. He pulled a printed list of cars out of his pocket and pointed at the Saturn listing, I said that's it. We went inside to get the keys. After looking at the key board for a minute he says no keys. The salesman picks up the phone, talks to someone and tells me it is gone, sold. I explain we just saw it and called on it can we at least see it as it must still be there. He says it's not, it was sold to a wholesaler days ago. I explain how can that be, it's online right now and my daughter just called. He was nice, apologized, etc. I asked why would you have a car listed for sale online and it's not here? He explained it is a problem, they all know, the dealership knows, this happens all the time, he doesn't have any control over it. I said we even called, this is ridiculous, he agreeeded. Then he asked where my daughter called from and I said at college in Kalamazoo, he said that makes sense, the call would be routed to the Grand Rapids call center which is just a "bunch of kids who know nothing about what is actually on the lot and their job is just to get you to come to the dealership". A huge waste of time, scam/bait you in, etc. While driving home I was so irritated I called the dealership and asked if the General Manager was there, the girl said yes (can't remember off-hand but maybe it was Larry) she transferred me and it went to his voicemail. I left a polite message regarding what happened and that I was not happy, with my phone number. Never received any call back. That was the beginning and end of GM car ownership for me. More
Salesman Greg Dawkins lied Greg Dawkins told us verbally and showed the paperwork that the 2014 truck we purchased on April 10, 2017 had a 3.42 axel ratio, which we wanted becau Greg Dawkins told us verbally and showed the paperwork that the 2014 truck we purchased on April 10, 2017 had a 3.42 axel ratio, which we wanted because of the towing capacity of over 9,000 lbs which we explained to him before purchasing that we wanted to buy a truck that would be able to pull a 5th wheel camper and our boat. We learned 2 days later after purchasing the truck by looking at the codes in the glovebox we Google and it shows this truck has a 3.08 gear ratio which is capable of pulling 6,600. I called Greg and he said he knew that and I asked why he lied to us and his response was well you bought it. I called Patrick Daly whom is used vehicle director and talked to him once said he would call me back and never did. I called customer retention manager Chris Johnson out of Grand Rapids and he was going to check into the situation and get back to me and he never did. I also called and left many messages to the general manager Larry White and he finally called back and said he would take of things and would get back to me but no response. I have left several messages and emails with no responses. I also called vice president Pete Ferris and left a message and no response. I would not recommend this dealership to anybody because they lie to make the sale of a vehicle. We are still waiting on someone to respond, hopefully they will fix this situation otherwise we will pursue other avenues. More

Once we were told the tires had mud & ice in them and they were out of balance. Upon returning for the same issue they replaced 3 of the 4 tires as they were found to be defective. The truck was brought back to the dealer 4/17/17 and the same technician and they have replaced all tires & wheels from a brand new truck on the lot and the problem became worse. As of this date, 4/28/17, I have not been able to get their service manager, general manager or their service tech to call me or my husband back after having my truck for 12 DAYS. No status updates, no plan of action, just simply unprofessional. Perhaps it is time to have a conversation with my attorney about filing a lemon law suit as it appears Todd Wenzel cannot address the problem. More
Todd Wenzel GMC - so disappointed with the service. I bought my 2014 Sierra new from Red Holman, now Todd Wenzel. From day (night) one, I've had trouble seeing at night with the headlights on this vehi I bought my 2014 Sierra new from Red Holman, now Todd Wenzel. From day (night) one, I've had trouble seeing at night with the headlights on this vehicle. While searching for a fix from an aftermarket auto supply, I found several complaints which led me to a TSB (technical service bulletin) from GM. Apparently GM has acknowledged that they have received enough complaints that a fix was needed. I called Todd Wenzel and talked to Craig in the service department. He of course never heard of any complaints. Must be new or filling in I thought to myself. He finally found the TSB after I gave him the number. At this point he wants me to bring in my truck and said that it wouldn't be covered under warranty. I explained that not only did I pay for an extended 100,000 mile warranty which was supposed to cover everything except normal wear items, but it was a safety issue as far as I was concerned. A problem that GM had already acknowledged. I also pointed out that this TSB only covered certain model years because this fix was incorporated on all new builds at a certain point in 2015. So Craig, it's not a problem, but this fix is now incorporated in all new vehicles because of all the customer complaints. Fine. Lets move on with a quote for my windshield, which I need to get replaced when I bring my truck in for an oil change. I already had a couple of quotes from glass shops in the area ranging from a couple of hundred for OMM aftermarket to about 680.00 for an OEM original equipment. But I thought I would go ahead and have the dealer fix it, as long as they were in the ball park, and get everything done at once. Then maybe they could tell me if they would take care of this TSB Service Bulletin as well. That's when he gives me a quote of $2,500.00. I took that as an insult. Needless to say I won't be having any more work done at Todd Wenzel and will be looking for a new dealer. I'm also going to do my best to share this with GM corporate to see what their take on getting a TSB taken care of. Yes I'm only one tiny little GMC truck owner. But I have choices, and I plan to share my experience with everyone else I know. More
Do it yourself if you can. I took my vehicle in for service on a randomly functioning blower in my 2012 GMC Sierra HD. Some days it wouldn't work at all, some days it would but only on HI. If it was on any other setting it would surge off and on. Early on it would kick on if I were to bang on the dashboard. Recently it only worked if I hit a bump in the road hard enough. All of these symptoms were explained at the dealership upon check in. About three hours later, I was told there was good news. It was just a loose wire. It works fine now. How excited I was. I picked up the truck, pulled out onto Ford Road and turned in the blower. Nothing. Banged on the dashboard. Nothing. Made a u - turn and returned to the dealership. They got the technician, he thought it was the wires again and said he would take a look. The service advisor said I hope it's that because otherwise it could be a board and that's expensive. Yikes! After waiting in the lounge, they said it was working and had me try it. Indeed it was, and I drove off. 10 minutes down the road it started surging again and then it stopped. ARRRRGH! The dealership was closed by now. Long story short. I went to O'Reilly's?, bought a new blower motor, put it in in 45 minutes. And it now works like a charm. REALLY? And people don't trust dealerships? why? What a waste of money! I know nothing will be done to make me satisfied, just feels good to get it off my chest. More

Good service center I think you should review your salespeople. I was not greeted by not one of your salespeople. Picked up a pick up book, walked around, no one came up I think you should review your salespeople. I was not greeted by not one of your salespeople. Picked up a pick up book, walked around, no one came up to me to ask if I needed help of was thinking of buying a new car. I did ask one sale lady where the pickups were, she said back by body shop and behind dealership. Lady I have a book in my hand. Nope she just left me there to go sit with another salesperson. The only one who greeted me was your receptionist. Two hours there and no one interested in making a possible sale. Hope you can figure things out with your sales people. Guess they are more interested in socializing with others then with customers More
