Recently purchased a used Frontier at County Line Nissan North. I called for a test drive appointment and was invited in the same day. Todd was great on the phone and in person. When we returned he took the time to answer any questions about the vehicle. I made the purchase and was offered the opportunity to pick up the vehicle at my convenience. On the pick up day, we went over the details and did the paperwork quickly and painlessly thanks to Ariel. Working with both of these gentlemen was a pleasure, and I'm very happy with the experience. I recently purchased a vehicle from County Line Nissan North’s Torrington, CT location. I was extremely disappointed in the customer service I received from the sales manager, Michael Weber, throughout th North’s Torrington, CT location. I was extremely disappointed in the customer service I received from the sales manager, Michael Weber, throughout the process. I first spoke with Michael over the phone regarding the vehicle and to negotiate a price before driving 2 hours to the dealership. He was very disrespectful on the telephone, would not let me talk and continuously spoke over me. In person, Michael was equally unpleasant and unprofessional. It was evident from the start that he does not care about his customers as he was rude and unprofessional towards us in his own dealership. When asking general questions about the vehicle he immediately got defensive and made off color comments. The vehicle was in desperate need of new tires: when asked what kind of tires he would put on the vehicle (ensuring they wouldn’t put on cheap tires, as the ones already on the vehicle were expensive) he got defensive and mentioned he has never seen or heard of quality $40 dollar tires. He told my boyfriend he would get him a job application right then and there if he could find quality tires in that price range. Once my boyfriend did, he changed his attitude as he was proven wrong. We are still awaiting that job application as we are other things he promised. We were also told the vehicle would be properly detailed as it rid of cigarette smoke and needed a solid cleaning. Upon scheduled arrival we found the vehicle not ready to be picked up as Michael was still cleaning the vehicle himself. It was evident it did not get the proper detailing as it still smelt of cigarette smoke. Michael complained that it was not his job to clean vehicles. However, Michael and the dealership had several opportunities to properly detail the vehicle as he had 3 business days between purchase and pickup to clean it. Michael went on to tell me that since I hang out with a person such as my boyfriend, he should have no problem detailing the vehicle. Michael made all attempts to blame others for his lack of professional due diligence and poor work performance. As a frontline healthcare professional working on a COVID unit I feel very unprofessional showing up to work smelling of cigarette smoke. Our perception of him is that he does not care about the condition of the vehicles that he is selling nor the customers he is selling to. I hope he does not treat all of his customers with such disrespect as we are the ones keeping their business afloat during this time of crisis. When bringing the vehicle home, I attempted to rid the vehicle of its futile smell and found the cabin filter filled with what looked to be mouse xxxxxxxxx and nesting. On top of renting an ozone generator, I also had to purchase a new air cabin filter. I was also told I would have my paperwork overnighted and still have yet to receive it in the mail. I reached out with my concerns and still haven’t heard back - it has been one whole week. I highly recommend looking elsewhere when purchasing a vehicle as it is evident County Line Nissan North does not care about the work ethic of their employees or the satisfaction of their customer service. Servicing my Nissan Altima I could not have asked for a better servicing experience. The guys here really listened to my concerns about the “weird noise” my Altima was making and reassured me they would not be charging an arm and a leg to fix whatever the problem was. They kept me in the loop about what they found to be a concern in the garage and even let me take one of them for a test drive so I can point out when I heard the noises while driving. They took my car in right away and the service was quick and easy! More
