Keep in mind this review is coming from someone who has worked in sales a long time, including auto dealerships. Titan Motors is strictly the ONLY place I go to when I need a car. I can’t believe I’m saying this but I feel like I can let my guard down at a used car lot for once in anyone’s lifetime. There’s a level of integrity with their service that is unparalleled. They see you as a hard working human being first, not a customer they want to rip off. I have left jobs elsewhere because of this reason, I can never rip someone off and I thought I was the only one. They make sure the car is taken care of BEFORE you drive off the lot and they never lowball you on a price. Please, do yourself a favor and if you are considering a trade in, trade here. I can’t believe how much more money they could have made off my Accord but they chose not to. I didn’t even have to negotiate, and I’m a dang good negotiator. They give you a price that’s fair. Every other place I went looked for ANY excuse to knock off a few hundred here and a couple thousand there because of “scratches”. The car was in great shape, low miles, serviced and other dealers wanted it but were penny pinching and gave us attitude when we asked for a respectable price. They immediately stopped taking us seriously. But then I went to Titan Motors and the *initial* offer was $4,000 more than what the other dealers offered. I was shocked. And the manager was so nonchalant as if his generosity and honesty are routine for him..not common at used car lots. Titan Motors is special. More

1999 Porsche Boxster not what it seemed. As another reviewer indicated, I would have given zero stars here if I could. I purchased a 1999 Porsche Boxster from Titan motors in mid August of 20 As another reviewer indicated, I would have given zero stars here if I could. I purchased a 1999 Porsche Boxster from Titan motors in mid August of 2018 with 88k miles on it. Aesthetically, the car is in very good shape for it's age but, looks have nothing to do with the mechanical issues that have unfolded, one after another, since I purchased this vehicle less than 800 miles ago. First issue, just after purchase, the latch for the convertible top fell apart in my hands revealing incorrect, non OEM replacement screws with different head configurations as well as a dome light that was held in place inside the latch housing with a black zip tie. A 12 year old would have done a better job on this repair. The dealer blamed sub standard repair on a vendor of their choosing, not my problem but, I had to repair this myself by tapping new, correct OEM replacement screws into the frame, that was my problem. That's a fairly small thing compared to what comes next. While driving the vehicle a couple of weeks later, the clutch pedal went to the floor rendering shifting gears impossible. The entire clutch mechanism needs to be replaced, that's the disc, pressure plate, throw out bearing as well as the hydraulics related to the clutch and the clutch master and slave cylinders. Estimated cost of repair? $2,750. I have been driving manual transmissions since I was 15 years old and I'm now 58 so, I know my way around all kinds of manual transmissions. I'm having the repair shop do a detailed break down to make sure that there are no other half assed attempts to cover up or hide repairs that should have been addressed prior to Titan motors selling this vehicle to an unsuspecting buyer RUN, do not walk, from this business. It's very apparent that they are not on the up and up. More

DON'T EXPECT TO HEAR THE TRUTH! I thought my experience with Titan Motors in Chantilly, VA was going to be positive. My son test drove a car, his first car, a 2002 Volvo, and we cam I thought my experience with Titan Motors in Chantilly, VA was going to be positive. My son test drove a car, his first car, a 2002 Volvo, and we came back after viewing other cars to purchase it. Enayt Babe, our salesperson, was pleasant during the sale. We bought the car and drove it home on Columbus Day, 10/10/16. The initial mistake we found was that Enayt did not complete the title for us. After going to DMV on Tuesday morning, 10/11, we found out that Enayt failed to complete one section, so we were delayed by a few days in registering the car. Unfortunately for us, this may have been intentional. I did not allow my son to drive the car until Thursday evening for this reason after we had the proper title form, and I completed the registration process at DMV. Once we were able to really drive the car with title and insurance, it was too late to take it back, and of course the car was sold “as is”. Of course, we were gambling a bit without a thorough review of the car, but the dealership in Chantilly was nearly an hour from our house in Alexandria, VA and a garage I trust. So, we had to rely on Enayt’s word on checking the car and that it was in great shape and ready to go. After all, Titan is also a garage, right? Wrong! My son was out with the car for less than an hour, and I received a frantic call that the car was smoking. I advised him to pull over and turn the car engine off. Keep in mind, Enayt had assured us and charged a $395 fee to prepare the car. I realize the car is sold "as is," but if you aren't going to go over it in the most basic way, then don't charge your customers $395! The smoke was actually steam, because there was a leak in the coolant system. I had to take the car to a local garage in Old Town Alexandria, Yates Auto Service, that honestly diagnosed the problem. Apparently, someone had tried to solder the two radiator hoses to hide a leak. I am not sure who did that, most likely Titan Motors, and I am sure they hoped it would last a bit longer than it did. Enayt also claimed that he changed the oil for us, and Yates checked that in a general engine check. They said the oil was filthy and needed to be changed badly. I have since learned of an old, dishonest trick that can fool someone when checking the dip stick for the oil (don’t change it, just add about a quart to top it off with new oil). Consequently, just one week after buying the car, I had to pay $900 to repair the coolant leak, flush the radiator, and get an oil change. We were lied to about the oil change and deceived about the leak in the coolant system. I tried to contact Titan Motors, and of course, Enayt was hiding. He finally called back after 3-4 days. He said he was shocked and knew nothing about the leak in the coolant system. After getting after him pretty good on the phone and having him get very defensive and deny, deny, deny, Enayt finally seemed like he wanted to do the right thing and promised to help. I negotiated a $300 fee to help with the repairs. After giving his word to pay $300, I found out that Enayt’s word is not worth the “hot air” shooting out of his mouth! He lied through his teeth! I haven’t received a dime. Since then, I have found the source of the coolant leak and am trying to resolve that issue. All-in-all this transaction has been a nightmare, and I blame Enayt for the lion’s share of the problem. Titan Motors' prices are good, but BEWARE! I would never consider buying another vehicle from this company nor would I ever recommend them. JUST AVOID THEM! There's a reason used car lots have a bad reputation, and unfortunately, Titan Motors is a great example of that bad reputation. For their dishonesty, I am giving them the lowest score that I can.
