I bought a blank key from an outside source and had my son go to Bender's to have the key cut and programmed. They wouldn't touch it because it wasn't a MOPAR key. I knew I was risking the blank to be bad - what difference does it make to them? They were going to be paid for their time and effort. Nope, wouldn't touch it. This would have been the perfect opportunity for this dealership to establish a good rapport - never know, I might need parts for the used Liberty and with a good experience, there's always the possibility I'd be back.
