Rodent hitchhiker After a panic call from my wife I picked up our 2014 Escape with severe vibration, shut off the fan motor to stop the noise and shaking, and took the After a panic call from my wife I picked up our 2014 Escape with severe vibration, shut off the fan motor to stop the noise and shaking, and took the vehicle to Short Redmond in Lafollette. The service writer took a description of the problem and assured me he would have it looked at as soon as possible. Within thirty minutes a technician returned stating that something was in or interfering with the fan motor, presumably a small animal. Later that morning he found a mouse had entered the ducting and found its way to the fan. After a cleanup of the area, check out of the fan, and a few sprays of air freshener I was back on the road. Service was friendly and professional with all persons involved being supportive. I will most likely return for future automotive needs. More
