After we agreed to price and finance, i saw the 600+ doc fee. Think it was around 650, but can't remember the exact amount. Knowing that Doc Fees are arguably one of the most deceptive devices used, imho, the amount they are charging put almost all of the agreed to reduction in price right back on the cost of the vehicle. I feel sorry for all the folks trying to scrape together their pennies to buy a used car only to lose any benefit gained by a lower price. The state of Ky needs to stop this horrible practice. I might have accepted the amount had they lowered the price by at least half the fee to essentially charge the state average. That is pathetic.
