We have been wanting to get a mid size truck for quite a while now. We looked at different makes and models, test drove a few and decided we wanted a Chevy Colorado. We figured we couldn’t get one because of the car/truck shortage and the crazy mark ups. We even checked out a few pre-owned trucks but couldn’t find one that felt right. We went so far as to order one directly from the factory in the color and specifications that we wanted while trying to keep the price low. We weren’t able to test drive the truck at that time because nobody had them. I would have liked to get other options on the truck that was ordered from the factory, but was very concerned with price, so I didn’t. This morning, we had an appointment at another dealer to take our car in for maintenance and figured we’d go over to Chevy and see if they had any available for a test drive. One of the salesmen, Jimmy Benavides, met with us in the lot and we explained what we were looking for. He actually listened and threw out some options for us. We test drove one of the smaller engine Colorado trucks and was concerned that it didn’t have enough power for us. Then he showed us a 2022 lifted Colorado Z71 in white. I’m not one for white cars but we test drove it anyway. We absolutely loved the power, handling, looks, and options, but it was way out of our price range, or so we thought. Jimmy got his manager Phillip involved right away to see what they could do for us. We told them where we were trying to be and absolutely where we couldn’t be with our payment. Not once were they ever pushy. They gave us all the important information up front rather than typically unpleasant surprises in the finance office. They gave us the room to talk about things and to come to a decision that worked for us. It was a very smooth and pleasant experience all the way around. We would definitely recommend Gosch Chevrolet and our salesman Jimmy Benavides. Thank you guys!! I love my new truck!! More
