My 21 year old daughter saw a vehicle on the internet she was interested in. She had already been through the car buying process a year ago on her own. She went in with a budget and a plan. Her salesman, Seb was interested in. She had already been through the car buying process a year ago on her own. She went in with a budget and a plan. Her salesman, Sebastian, was awesome and thorough (this review is no way attached to him). Where the problem came in was when the Team Manager, Philip Meneses, came over to work the deal. Everything was above my daughters cap. After she stuck to her guns, he attempted to shame her regarding her cap as being unrealistic. He took her to the finance dept to meet another gentleman. They brought it down to $15 over her cap. She kept trying to tell them no she had a cap and could not walk away with the car for over it. We went out to talk and came back in to say "No thank you" and they came back with a payment just at her cap miraculously. EXCEPT it removed the extended warranty which she had told them was a must, and kept their mandatory anti theft device. Philip then looked over at her nails and says, "It's a little over a dollar a day difference, don't get your nails done then." When she again stuck to her guns and said no, his attempts at shaming her for wanting a car above her budget was over the top. I can't image his rage if someone was trying to pull that on his daughter. The bullying and shaming was so unnecessary. I was there for only moral support as she has her own income, awesome credit, and the drive to successfully be independent, but I cannot imagine the things he would have said to her if I was not there! He even looked to her boyfriend at one point and asked him to contribute the difference. Just such a shameful way to act and clearly pressure a sale on a young individual who was confident in her cap. The lack of respect was over the top and disgusting. More
