Pleasant Surprise After Bad Experience Elsewhere I originally bought my Chevy Cruze at another Chevy Dealership I wish to remain unnamed, and while they were very friendly with the selling of the car I originally bought my Chevy Cruze at another Chevy Dealership I wish to remain unnamed, and while they were very friendly with the selling of the car, the service department was cold, annoyed and unhelpful. At first, I thought it was normal, okay you bought the car now you get treated like a number and here's where you wait. Needless to say I didn't feel like driving out to said place as it's further from my home than Tim Lally, so I figured why not try their service out (That and the sales rep who sold me the car disappeared so my loyalty to him/that dealership has since dissolved). I had a young man named Dan point me in the right direction by telling me where to pull my car up to and where to go to check in. Then I was helped by Curtis who was AWESOME!!! He told me the approximate time the oil change/tire rotation would be, then he came back and let me know additional service was necessary (the check engine light was on, hence the reason for my appointment) and wanted to be sure I had the time to have it done today and I did so it all worked out. All in two hours. At aforementioned nameless Chevy dealership, my last oil change there was scheduled for 8AM on a Saturday morning and my car, oil change and tire rotation only, no additional service, was returned to me at roughly 11AM with no explanation or apology for the delay. Again, my only other experience to Chevy dealership was a bad one, but I only learned that from my experience here. I will definitely be returning for future service and will be most likely purchasing my next vehicle here as well. Also, if anyone is looking for GM certified service or a new Chevrolet I'll be pointing them in your direction (Not sure if you sell used cars too but I'll be sure to edit my sales pitch once I find this bit of information out). More
Sub Par service I took my 2012 Chevy Cruze in for immediate service due to some very serious issues with my car. I was very pleased to get an appointment within the h I took my 2012 Chevy Cruze in for immediate service due to some very serious issues with my car. I was very pleased to get an appointment within the hour that I called. AJ, who I dealt with was very pleasant and informed of everything that needed to be done. He was very helpful and seemed to want to assist me and make this experience painless. I was informed my car would need a completely new ECM. Once I was told my car would have to be kept over night and I would be set up with a rental, I was very pleased. Except for the fact I was given a hard time getting the rental. An hour and half later, after having to plead for a car, I was finally set up with Enterprise. Once I picked my car up the next day, I trusted that everything was taken car of and my car had a new ECM that would solve the problem. A week and a half later, i started to have the same problem I did before I had a new ECM. Since, Tim Lally is not the most convenient to me, I set up an appointment at Serpentini to have it looked at AGAIN. I was informed by them after a diagnostic that although my ECM was replaced, it wasn't programmed correctly, causing the ECM to not function properly. This is a big problem. I trusted my car to a certified service department and received work that damaged my car even more? I don't understand how this could even happen! Needless to say, I won't be back for anymore awful service. More
