We took our 370Z 2011 convertible with 57000 miles to the Nissan dealer because the top would not operate as it was in the closed position. (Top was up) Also the interior warning buzzer rang constantly a the Nissan dealer because the top would not operate as it was in the closed position. (Top was up) Also the interior warning buzzer rang constantly and the trunk was locked shut. Tim Dahle advised us it was a faulty latch (locks and unlocks) the top and it would be $ 1800.00 to replace which we authorized them to proceed. After it's replacement, they cycled the top up and down a ~dozen times and the dealer declared it fully repaired. When we went to pick it up at the dealer, it failed to operate once again. After further inspection, the dealer advised the hydraulic system was the culprit for the failure. They advised that they would only replace the entire hydraulic system with a 23000 price tag. Yes, 23000. They were not interested in doing a diagnostic analysis of the separate hydraulic parts. I asked the dealer if there was any visible hydraulic fluid? "No", they said but further advised that there was a pinhole in one of the hoses which drained the pump. (Not sure how they determined that without hydraulic diagnostics) Meanwhile the vehicles top still doesn't operate, still beeps constantly and the trunk is locked shut as a result of the top not locking down or up. This is the same condition as when we took it into the dealer, only now we r down 1800.00. I cannot recommend TDahle Nissan under any circumstances. Do yourself a favor and shop/service elsewhere where you don't get the runaround. More
Called to schedule an oil change , showed up and waited 20 minutes before someone checked us in ! Also wanted them to look at the front differential that was leaking gear oil and the front brakes I noticed 20 minutes before someone checked us in ! Also wanted them to look at the front differential that was leaking gear oil and the front brakes I noticed the backing plate was coming off one of the pads. They informed me there would be a fee for diagnosing the issue, ok that’s fine, after they had the car for 3 hours they called and said it was ready to be picked up and they did not see anything wrong with the brakes ? Weird because half of the pad was hanging off ! So I show up to pick up the car and when they were backing it out, they heard a noise and told me you will never believe it one of your brake pads is damaged and hanging down !! Really no kidding that’s why I brought it to you to have it fixed! Then I was informed that after it was placed on the lift they wiped the oil off of the differential and tightened a bolt , and that should fix the problem, and the diagnostic charge would be 200 dollars and 80 dollars for the oil change and if I would now like to schedule a diagnostic for the brakes ? For another 200 dollar charge , I said I don’t think so this oil change has now cost me almost 300 dollars !! Don’t ever go here unless you want to be completely ripped off I will never be back . Terrible dealership. Once they sell you a car they don't give a xxxx after that. The service advisor Travis says a warranty claim was denied for an unrelated reason, but the warranty company Portfolio has no record of the claim. Had to get it approved through Karl Malone Toyota. Have had the worry free maintenance that is supposed to cover tire rotation, oil and filters. The last 3 times I have taken my car in they haven't done the tire rotation. I have had other issues with my ca cover tire rotation, oil and filters. The last 3 times I have taken my car in they haven't done the tire rotation. I have had other issues with my car and have spoken to them about it, all they want to do is charge me over $1000 to fix so called other issues. I will NEVER go back there. They over charge and don't deliver. More
Tim Dahl Service department and service Manager Denim do a great job. in taking care of their customers. I had some service done a few months ago and thought one of the services i paid for wasn't done so I a great job. in taking care of their customers. I had some service done a few months ago and thought one of the services i paid for wasn't done so I made an appointment to get it checked out and Denim (Service manager) took care of me and personally made it right. Thats how you keep customers coming back. I know mistakes happen but doing the right thing like He did is Ace's high in my book and I thank him. I will continue having Tim Dahl service department take care of my vehicle in the future. Dealership 5 stars and Service manager ****** 6 stars. Thank you Again. John Cook More
I purchased a Nissan NV 12 passenger van about a year and a half ago. It's been a good van, but we recently had an issue with the aftermarket 4x4 (turns out it was a completely owner-operated issue). They go a half ago. It's been a good van, but we recently had an issue with the aftermarket 4x4 (turns out it was a completely owner-operated issue). They got me in ASAP and diagnosed and serviced immediately. They informed me it would cost approximately $1300 to repair (outside of warranty), but could be done that day. I approved the repairs and they helped get me to a couple of appointments in Draper and Lehi (I live outside of the area and they're contracted Lyft drivers were all very nice, too). When I returned to pick up the vehicle, they detailed how they were able to correct the problem without reinstalling a new computer. That attention to detail saved me almost $800. That really helped my family out and Mark (in repairs) and Travis Murdock (in marketing) were excellent to work with. Thank you! These are great guys!! More
This review is for the service department As I write this review, I am still waiting for the service advisor to call me back regarding an updated estimate/status of my car. It has been a whole day after the review, I am still waiting for the service advisor to call me back regarding an updated estimate/status of my car. It has been a whole day after the initial estimate, a total of 2 days and the car is still in just 'check in' status. No delivery date in sight for a leaking power steering, which by the way was supposed to have been fixed by them some months ago (like 3 months). I'll try to recover my car tomorrow and take it somewhere else. Previous interactions had been ok, but this time I find the lack of communication/call backs unacceptable More

Let me tell you about my experience with Tim Dahle Nissan Southtowne - We purchased a used but close to new Nissan Rogue April 2020, it was a trade in and they didn't put it through emmisions or inspection t Southtowne - We purchased a used but close to new Nissan Rogue April 2020, it was a trade in and they didn't put it through emmisions or inspection to get the vehicle licensed and registered so I took it back in August when they finally realized what needed to be done, while there I had an oil change done as well and they scratched the rear 1/4 panel so they said they would fix it, and it came back with the color not correct and it stands out to me and others. They have told me several times they would make an appointment and have it fixed. I went into the service department and was promised it would be taken care of and they would contact me once the appointment was set. Still to this day it hasn't been taken care of. I had to have them put in a new battery 6 months ago and now having issues with the vehicle starting, I CAN'T get ahold of anyone to assist me since it comes with the Lifetime Warranty (not worth it if they won't answer their phone or return VM). Then I get a phone call from the sales department wanting to know if they can help. I am at this point furious and frustrated with the whole situation. More
