They may be honest, or they may not. If they lie, and you catch them in a lie after the fact, than they will blame you for not catching them in the lie BEFORE you purchased. If you catch them in a lie before you purchase than good for you. You can than get a better deal. It's not the kind of business I choose to work with. More

We purposely bought it early to ensure she could drive it and have fun on her birthday. We paid cash and the dealership graciously allowed us to leave the car parked on the premisis to help with the surprise (thus the 2 stars instead of 1). Thanks Evan Lucas and Jason Jarrah - you were the one shining star in this mess! When I went to licence it, the DMV pointed out that I did not have a title in the envelope I left the dealership with. Figuring there was a misunderstanding I called the dealership on 10/18 where I found out from their accounting department that there was an outstanding lien on the vehicle. The dealership then maintained communication and let me know on Friday 10/19 that they were getting the required data, but I couldn't pick it up until Monday 10/22. I got the paperwork they offered and was then told by the DMV on 10/23 that I still needed the title, which I thought I had. I finally got an application for duplicate title (not the actual title) on 10/24 - TWO MONTHS AFTER THE FACT. This is when I finally started to feel frustrated. I let them know that I did not think they handled to situation well and that this was the worst car buying experience I had ever had, to which I was told 'that's what you get when you buy a $500 car' by the sales manager Jason Goates. It was $2000, but his point was made. I get that it was a cheap car and that they weren't making much money, but you try to tell you teenage daughter she can't drive her car until the dealership clears up what they should have 2 months ago. Tears were shed and I was not a happy dad. I then called the MVED (motor vehicle enforcement division) to see how long a dealership has to deliver a title, and found that it was 48 hours. Since this time was breached and since they sold me a car with an active lien and did nothing until I called them 2 MONTHS later I am filing a complaint with MVED and leaving poor reviews wherever I can as I told them I would when they asked me to leave the premisis (can't blame them - I would have kicked me out too, but when I'm talked down to I'm going to respond). I'm sure nothing will come of this, but I sure feel better. I kept my word, which they did not. More
Lies! Lies, lies, and cover-ups! We simply were sent home with the wrong vehicle and they would not honor their word. They told us and showed us a car with Lies, lies, and cover-ups! We simply were sent home with the wrong vehicle and they would not honor their word. They told us and showed us a car with features that convinced us to buy the car and then sent us home with a car that did not have those features. Tried to work with them to make things right and they covered up their lies! Please avoid like the plague! BTW Murray store is the same owner don't think you will get honesty there either! More

Didn't feel pressured or rushed. I bought a preowned 2007 Jeep Wrangler about a year ago and went back to lease a CX5 a few months ago. I wanted to buy from the same person, Erica. She made me feel comfortable and really respected my budget. She worked hard to get me exactly what I wanted and didn't let me down. I highly recommend asking for her. More

Repeat Customer. Still impressed with Southtowne Mazda! We got a car with Southtowne Mazda three years ago, and when it came time for a different car to get replaced, we chose to return to this dealership t We got a car with Southtowne Mazda three years ago, and when it came time for a different car to get replaced, we chose to return to this dealership to look at our options. We found the car we loved, and were treated to the best service. Everyone from the salesman to the owner to the financial department was easy and pleasant to work with. Any time we have concerns about service, the department fits us in and takes great care of our vehicles. We've had followup emails and calls to make sure we're happy, or to discuss upcoming vehicle care. Before we leave the lot, the staff makes sure we're up to date on car features or future service needs. We have never had a bad experience with Southtowne Mazda in all the years we've worked with them and I know we'll come back for future cars. More
I FELT LIKE A STEP CHILD THAT TOOK DAD'S CAR FOR A SPIN So to start this nightmare I go to this dealership and this is my 1st time trying this group, I usually and forever for now will go to LowBook Sales. So to start this nightmare I go to this dealership and this is my 1st time trying this group, I usually and forever for now will go to LowBook Sales. So to start my wonderful Friday on July 21, 2017, I get there at 3:45pm and I already know what car I want to get and test drive, but they can't find the key's to the car for an entire hour. So around 5pm I finally get to test drive the car and I get pulled over by the police, because the sales representative didn't put a Car registration tag in the window like he should. Then they tell me that they won't pay off my car which I only owe 16 payments on at this point, which I never had a problem at Low Book Sales, they're awesome, not these guys! And then before even running my credit they tell me that they got me for 10-11% and that will be roughly my payment. So then I tell them what bank to use and I get 6.9% interest rate. Then the entire time the manager there Curtis gives me dirty looks the entire time I'm there until 7:30pm that night when they finally finished and then just to kick me when I'm down, when it should be a very happy day, they give me $5.00 in gas in my brand new car which I had barely enough to go home and of course the next day I had to put my own gas money into my supposedly new car. The next day I go to the dealership and show them pictures of the front tires and tell them they are a little worn and I would like to exchange for new tires since I still had to sign a couple of more papers that morning since it took so long the night before. The manager almost let me walk out the door and I was about too get into my other car, when his finance guy runs out to try to work it out and then he tells me I have to pay $100.00 for the 2 tires. Then I advised him his manager Curtis promised me $4800.00 for my car trade in and when the papers were done he gave me $4700.00 so there is there $100.00 they want me to pay out of my own pocket for a brand new car they won't even put good tires on. And yes today is July 26, 2017 and I'm still awaiting those tires. I will never go through these people again or recommend them to anyone! Horrible experience and I felt like dirt the whole time I was there. Beside the finance guy Nadeem and Innoncent, this place was horrible and I will definitely next time stick to my WINNER LOWBOOKSALE, awesome people and they give you soda and popcorn and have you in a nice air conditioned environment and they will pay off your car, use them not Curtis the xxxxxxx MANAGER! AND DID I SAY I STILL HAVE NO NEW TIRES, FREAKING GARBAGE! More
Excellent car buying experience! I just purchased a 17 Mazda 3 GT 6 speed manual this past Friday. I worked with Kent Douglass and he made the buying process very easy. I test drove I just purchased a 17 Mazda 3 GT 6 speed manual this past Friday. I worked with Kent Douglass and he made the buying process very easy. I test drove the car the day before and I knew I was going to come back to buy it. It was also great that he owns a Mazda 3 so he was able to answer a lot of questions I had about the car. They gave me a very fair amount on my trade and with the $2000 cash back, I was able to have a payment that was almost $100 less a month than my previous car. It took about two hours for financing, trade in, and walking me through all the features of the car. The interest rate was reasonable, they had a few payment options and they were able to get within a few dollars on the monthly payment that I had in mind. There was really no need to barter, the sales manager and the financing department were extremely easy to deal with, no thaving to deal with unnecessary padding. They didn't try and sell me a bunch of unnecessary add ons. This was the easiest car purchase that I have experienced in nearly 30 years of buying cars. Southtowne Mazda has a relaxed, no pressure atmosphere that is second to none! If you are interested in looking at a Mazda, I would highly recommend checking this dealer out. Great job guys! More
