I realized last minute that I needed an oil change. They didn’t give me a hard time at all! They warmly welcomed me, on a Saturday, a few hours before closing. They got it done in no time. The only reason they get one star is because zero wasn’t an option. Deceptive, dishonest, and rude. Had a faulty FOB on a brand new CX5. It fell apart twice in 4 months. When I made the appointment they kne an option. Deceptive, dishonest, and rude. Had a faulty FOB on a brand new CX5. It fell apart twice in 4 months. When I made the appointment they knew I had no intention of paying for any of it. The GM comes out and tells me Mazda would never back this up. (Lie) I asked why he didn’t tell me this 2 weeks ago? He pointed out a tiny scratch on the fob and acted like that caused it to fall apart—twice. I said I regretted my purchase. He told the service tech to get my car, my keys, and get me off HIS lot. Then he came back and said he’d give me employee pricing to fix it. Still too much. I declined and left. I went home and called Mazda corporate and they absolutely backed their product and sent me an e-certificate to pay for it. I call and make the appointment, telling them Mazda backed it, and are paying for it. The service manager calls an hour later and says they are not going to EVER service me and my car because I told the service tech to F off. LIE. Never happened. He also told me they do not represent Mazda (??) and they're under no obligation to accept a payment from Mazda corporate. Liars. Deceptive. Dishonest. More

Everyone at this dealership within management and sales is dishonest, unethical and offers horrid customer service! Not only was I lied to about the money I should have been refunded it took them months t is dishonest, unethical and offers horrid customer service! Not only was I lied to about the money I should have been refunded it took them months to get back to me after they fired the employee who took months to complete my paperwork. I have never received such awful service and would never return here after the way I have been treated. They take advantage of honest, hard working customers and don't follow through on what they promise and then they blame the customer for their wrong doing. Having a Mazda isn't really worth the hassle you have to go through and they don't follow through on anything they say they will do and they waste your valuable time. Will be calling Gephardt and the Better Business Bureau. More
Attempted to lease a Miata from this dealership. They couldn't be bothered securing the vehicle I'd put money down on, so the car got sold to someone else. They wouldn't tell me any of this over the pho couldn't be bothered securing the vehicle I'd put money down on, so the car got sold to someone else. They wouldn't tell me any of this over the phone, I had to drive in to be told they messed up. Provided another listing to the dealer, and got told the owner knew people at the dealer, and then radio silence, which told me the salesman was lying. They hadn't given me a refund, so I got my money back, and filed a complaint with management where I told them I just wanted to move on with life, took ownership of my trade in (this is important later), and left. Then, they called and told me they had a car that was already built and would be here April 1. April 3 I realized I'd heard nothing, so I drove to the dealership, where I was told the car wasn't even built yet, and would now be here May 1st. I rolled my eyes and left. I found almost the car I was after at another dealership (D. Dahle Mazda was far more competent. Go there), and decided losing out on the options I wanted was better than dealing with the dealer that can't be bothered delivering a car when I've already given them money, so I signed for the car. That's when I discovered that they took my registration paperwork out of the trade in, and never put it back, so I went back to Southtowne, where the manager started the conversation by interrupting me and talking over top of me to run through a timeline of excuses for why their incompetence leading to me getting my car elsewhere was everyone else's fault. I tried repeatedly to explain to him that I didn't care, but he interrupted me and talked overtop of me every time I tried. I finally directed him to the car out front, pointed out that I really didn't care about getting a car from him any more, and tried again to direct conversation to the fact that had I been pulled over my car could have been impounded, through no fault of my own. That's when this conversation happened: Me: So why did you take the registration out of my car?! Manager: Because it was a trade in. Me: So then why didn't you put it back? Manager: Because we didn't know we'd taken it out. Me: And this incompetence doesn't bother you? You as manager are responsible for your employees, no? Manager: *shrug* I called Mazda and filed a complaint about these guys. Here's hoping this hurts them even more, not that from their ratings that they shouldn't already be hurting. Stay away if you like the idea of not dying of a stress related heart attack. I regret not looking up their reviews before going there, but I leased my attempted trade in there and through dumb luck had a good experience. More
Horrible. left feeling ok, but quickly realized I was overcharged. politely asked for correction and Bill in finance appeared impatient. He yelled and hung up the phone on me. Had a terrible experience. Found something major wrong with my car, days after buying it. I dealt with the manager Mike. He was rude, shady, and insulting during our entire conversation. He said they woul with my car, days after buying it. I dealt with the manager Mike. He was rude, shady, and insulting during our entire conversation. He said they wouldn’t fix it because it “wasn’t in the deal”. As if they charge more for a fully functioning car. He ended the conversation with “bottom line, we aren’t fixing your car.” Think twice before purchasing a car here. More
Ayser was great.... The dealership.. awful 8 months ago I bought a 2014 KIA Cadenza from this dealership. Before I go into the bad let me start off with the good. Ayser, the sales manager 8 months ago I bought a 2014 KIA Cadenza from this dealership. Before I go into the bad let me start off with the good. Ayser, the sales manager that sold me the vehicle was very cooperative at first with issues i was having, what issues? Well, I was under the impression that the listing was accurate in the aspect that the vehicle hadn't been in any accidents and was inspected after being bought from the dealership. This was my first car buying experience, and after purchasing the vehicle at about 54K miles for 16k I pulled off the lot to realize that one of the tires was completely the wrong size, another had a nail in it, and almost all of them were bald and none had sensors. 1200 dollars later purchasing new tires and sensors i was reimbursed $250 for my inconvenience. Later to find out that there was no under cover under the bumper and there was a CV axle issue . Dealership helped out and payed for half of the CV axle repair. You would think that a car that was inspected these issues would've been addressed before purchase. The advertisement for the vehicle also said that GPS was included... There was no SD card and it is still that way once i realized that the updated one costs hundreds of dollars.. Let's fast-forward to 61K miles and the engine completely xxxxs out on me right outside of the warranty. I called asking for advice/recommendations and i was told that i would be called back several times and then finally i realized no matter how many times i called i wasn't going to be addressed after they told me "I should've bought a Mazda". I Get they are just doing their job and I should've did more research on car buying before going in. But here i am today, With a monthly payment of 265 for a paperweight in my driveway because i can't afford to replace the entire engine replacement. Even if the listing says that the car is inspected, I highly recommend getting a 120 point inspection on the vehicle because they most likely have not. after detailing my car i found that the entire rear right side of the bumper had damage and was poorly painted over and you could feel it. I can't even file a claim because after going through the engine they told me the recent owner treated it so bad, hardly ever changed the oil and the engine was xxxx near ruined and they wouldn't file the claim because... i guess i was deemed at fault for these fatal issues that i somehow caused in the 7-8K miles i put on the vehicle.... xx. My friend recently bought a Nissan Altima 2017 with 21K miles on it for about the same price i paid except his actually included warranty and honestly I'm so jealous. All I'm saying is everything is not what it seems. Trust but verify, and don't end up like me, 16K in the whole w a car I've already spent thousands of dollars on and can't even use it. I don't know what to do so hopefully this review helps someone out there that doesn't know much about car buying... More

The vehicle has been back for problems more times than any new vehicle should. Each time the same response" we couldn't duplicate the problem" or "we couldn't find anything wrong". My wife recently was pulling into a parking space. When she stepped on the brake the car accelerated instead of stopping and hit a building. The read out on the dash was "Front camera sensor system malfunction" and "Forward smart city brake support malfunction" I had the car taken to Southtowne Mazda to find out what happened and what Mazda was going to do about fixing the vehicle and the malfunction problems. After claiming they performed a diagnostic on the vehicle the Service Manager claimed the vehicle checked out fine and the malfunction codes were a result of the accident not the cause of the accident!!!!! I checked the Internet and it appears this is not an uncommon problem with this vehicle. We now have to pay to have the vehicle fixed and my wife will have to continue to drive an unsafe vehicle. The Service manager said this is the official position of Mazda and we can always file a civil lawsuit if we want but the accident was caused by my wife and not the cars systems malfunctioning. More
