BEWARE: I really am not the type to leave reviews but this place has put my daughter through the ringer. This is a long story but please read the whole thing and you will see what kind of company you are this place has put my daughter through the ringer. This is a long story but please read the whole thing and you will see what kind of company you are dealing with. First off I want to say that when my daughter was looking for her first car and we found it at D. Dahle I was excited because it was actually the first dealership I worked at as a teenager. This is where the excitement ends. She was interested in a used vehicle (2013 Subaru), we were told the transmission had just been replaced and looked over by a mechanic and it was in great working order, it had new tires etc. It hit all the things she was looking for. She already had financing through her credit union but this place acted as if this was the first time that has ever happened and we had to come back to the dealership several times to sign the contract due to the Finance manager throwing in GAP insurance and extended warranty without discussing the options with my daughter. When I pointed these items out he acted surprised and said they'd have to redo the contract. Fast forward to getting the license plates; no phone call, no letter in the mail saying they're in. My daughter calls the dealership as her temp had expired. They can't find her plates. The next day she gets a call stating that they never received the title from the previous owner so they would have to extend her temp. Something they could & should have disclosed that prior to her temp expiring! So they extend, and she waits another 30 days, again no communication from the dealership, They still don't have the title. She get's another extension on the temp. It's finally December (she purchased the car in Sept) and they call saying they have the title but failed to do an emissions test and they need the car back to do this before they can get her plates. So she takes the car in and finally she gets her plates. In February she is out for a drive and her car stops, it just dies. She gets it towed to D. Dahle ( a saturday night, so they are closed). Monday they call and say they dont know what's wrong, the car is driving fine and she can come get it. My daughter is annoyed but happy her car seems fine. She shows up and they tell her just kidding, her transmission is out! They tell her she probably has warranty coverage because they just replaced it in August. We are hopeful that is the case, but no, apparently they put a USED TRANSMISSION with only a 30 day warranty into her car. When she test drove the vehicle the warranty was already out!! Seriously something they should have disclosed. At this point they begin looking for yet another transmission, and quote us $2600. My husband calls and talks to the sales managers Matt and the Service Manager Damon and they say there's nothing they can do, the warranty wont cover it. They don't care about the previous issues with the plates or the shady tactics in Finance, but they said they will try to get us a better deal on the transmission. It takes a month for them to get the transmission in & repaired, which gave my daughter enough time to save up some money to pay for a transmission. Would you be surprised to hear that when they called that they said the price went up, not down? yeah, $2900+ and they claimed that was with a discount. My teary daughter goes to the dealership to pay to get her car, finally happy to have it back at least, She gets home and there is a giant dent & scratch on the rear passenger side! She calls the dealership to tell them that her car has been hit and they tell her they DO NOT COVER LOT DAMAGE! WHAT! You are a dealership, you have an account specifically for LOT DAMAGE! My husband calls them today and talks to Damon & Adrian, they both say that the only deal they can give her is 50% of the repair to fix it, which by their estimate is $900, so they want another $450 from her to FIX WHAT THEY DID, that's it they take no responsibility. SO IF YOU DON'T MIND BEING LIED TO, MISLEAD & HAVING YOUR PROPERTY DAMAGED, COME HERE! More
Mazda is going to lose customers After buying the 5th Mazda, my family and friends are now changing dealership and car type( no more Mazda’s) after Mazda thought it was a smart idea t After buying the 5th Mazda, my family and friends are now changing dealership and car type( no more Mazda’s) after Mazda thought it was a smart idea to start removing items that were stock and selling them as an add ons. That practice is a terrible idea as far as a sales technique. I found after owning 2 businesses for over 30 years that “word of mouth advertising” was my best and cheapest form of gaining customers. Completely lied to us and insulted my wife - AVOID We leased a new mazda cx-5 last year from D Dahle mazda, they didn't have any of the vehicles listed on the advertisement that they wanted and charged We leased a new mazda cx-5 last year from D Dahle mazda, they didn't have any of the vehicles listed on the advertisement that they wanted and charged us a different price than advertised. We went in today because the vehicle is stuttering (one year old!). When we asked if we could swap the lease with no mileage penalty (guaranteed to us at time of lease) they said we had driven too many miles and suggested that I just go ahead and buy my current vehicle. My wife tried talking with them and the guy who leased us the car in the first place called her a liar, told her she was "misremembering" the deal. FRAUDS! More
Does Not Honor Marked Vehicle pricing D. Dhale is 3asily one of the run of the mill scam car dealerships. They do not honor the marked prices on their vehicles. I tried to purchase a brand D. Dhale is 3asily one of the run of the mill scam car dealerships. They do not honor the marked prices on their vehicles. I tried to purchase a brand new mazda from them and after running through all the numbers on the phone, they tried to steeply hike the price of the vehicle saying that it was a "premium" packaged vehicle adding $13,000 to the marked price of the vegicle. When promptedtl that the new quote was not the vehicle posted pricing my experience took a turn for the worst. They shifted me around to 3 different employees and took nasty tones when trying to conduct business. I would never reccommend anybody to purchse a vehivle from this dealer. More

Took it in to this place, where they made me wait for over an hour before informing me that due to some kind of web site problem, they couldn't program me a new key! And if they did it, it was going to cost me $91, plus lost work time. I cannot conceive of any way that my experience with Dahle Mazda could have been worse. BTW, it turns out that there are key repair instructions on YouTube — I'll do that and save myself over a hundred bucks. More

They unapologetically took well over a month to pay off my trade-in, thus putting a blemish on my credit score that may affect my chances of buying a house. Then they asked me to pay what was essentially late payment fees, or a payoff discrepancy that occurred in the month's time they took to pay the lender. It's probably also worth mentioning that I saw my trade in, sitting right at the front of the lot a week before I learned that It was still financed in my name. Make sure the car you're purchasing has not been misrepresented, and that they've indeed serviced/inspected it. Mine ran out of washer fluid on the way home, which sparked my interest, so I thought I'd check the oil. Hood latch was broken (another red flag-to their credit-they agreed to repair this while taking care of some body work we agreed on at the time of purchase.) The oil is overfilled, and black as tar. This car had not been serviced, or even topped off on fluids. They say that every car is fully serviced and anything safety/maintenance related is replaced at over 50% wear during a 92 point inspection. The cords on the tires were showing, and they did put 4 new ones on during the body work, so I thought maybe they'd caught their mistake, and serviced it. They hadn't, and the paperwork I received when I picked it up showed that they found a coolant leak that required immediate attention, and an oil leak, both that they neglected to mention or fix. They sent me on my way home(100 miles), without a word about it. These are just the major complaints about my experience. I would never recommend purchasing a vehicle here, but if you must, exercise caution. I was very happy and satisfied with the deal we made initially, but everything past that point has been a total nightmare. I've given them several chances to make things right, with very little return. I purchased my vehicle on July 15th, and now I'm left crossing my fingers in hopes that I've just had my last phone call about this matter, 43 days later. More
