I purchased a new 2022 Ford Ranger from Tidelands on 4-19-22 and immediately after taking delivery of the vehicle noticed a terrible vibration/shutter during takeoff. I was not made aware that Tidelands 4-19-22 and immediately after taking delivery of the vehicle noticed a terrible vibration/shutter during takeoff. I was not made aware that Tidelands had installed a cheap Rough Country leveling kit and charged an additional $4,800 over msrp before purchasing the vehicle. Their service department has since had the vehicle 5 times and the issues still have not been resolved. More
It was an absolute pleasure working with Dave Clayton and Tilelands Ford. I was in and out in a couple of hours. It would have been faster if I didnt take so long looking over my new vehicle and unloading my Tilelands Ford. I was in and out in a couple of hours. It would have been faster if I didnt take so long looking over my new vehicle and unloading my trade. They had my paperwork qued up and waiting for me. No dust was settleing with Dave until he had me ready to hit the road with my new car. I would highly recomend anyone I know to Tidelands Ford. More
WARNING: Do not order a vehicle from Tidelands Ford. I placed a deposit ordered a 2021 F150 in September 2021 and never received any confirmation. In December when I knew orders were converting to 2022 I placed a deposit ordered a 2021 F150 in September 2021 and never received any confirmation. In December when I knew orders were converting to 2022 I began asking questions. Almost immediately I received a new order confirmation from Ford which was slightly suspicious. When it arrived in June this unscrupulous group has done everything in their power not to sell it to me due to the increase in sticker price being so much higher than my locked in price at time of order. *They added on “non-negotiable” dealer options that I did not agree to on the order. When questioned about this they provided me an order form from December and said I signed and agreed to them. 1 problem! I never signed anything in December!!! Tidelands forged my signature on another order form with all of their dealer fees when they ordered the 2022 in December. I still do not know for sure if the vehicle was actually ordered in September. *They would not honor my price lock. *They “lost” my locked in 0% financing certificate. *They low balled me on my trade-in. *They refunded my deposit while “searching” for my 0% financing certificate, cut off communication and began offering the truck to other potential buyers and telling them they were immediately adding a leveling kit and tires to raise the price even more. Crooked, unprofessional, and dirty. Do not do business with John Clairmont, Bill Alpin, or Benson Banks. More
Tidelands Ford performed a multipoint inspection on the 2020 Lincoln Navigator we purchased for them. Which means they inspect that the car is there and then put it on the lot to sell. After purchasing 2020 Lincoln Navigator we purchased for them. Which means they inspect that the car is there and then put it on the lot to sell. After purchasing I discovered a nail in my tire. Took it to my local Lincoln dealership which always does a general check on everything at the 25,000 mi mark. My air filters were filthy. How is it I have bought a used vehicle that went under a multipoint inspection and take delivery with nasty filters? When we requested Tidelands replace the filters they gave us the run around. Save with Dave lied to my husband about checking with the service manager. After hours of waiting to hear back we realized the service manager was out for the day. Then Save with Dave told us we dirtied the air filter by driving it from FL to NC and back the weekend before. Or that the dealership I currently was at was duping me by showing me an older air filter just to get me to pay. In the end, I wasted hours waiting on my vehicle because Tidelands refused to correct their mistake, and ended up paying for new filters on my just purchased used vehicle. Shady dealership. Shady sales team and management. Shady service department. More

I was traveling here from PA and somehow my 2019 F150 had a small but annoying oil drip. Called Tidelands and Brian told me to bring it in that afternoon. As suspected it was a failed O ring on the drain p a small but annoying oil drip. Called Tidelands and Brian told me to bring it in that afternoon. As suspected it was a failed O ring on the drain plug that my hometown Ford dealer didn't replace just a few thousand miles ago. I was appreciative that Tidelands fit me in on Friday afternoon on a holiday weekend (Presidents Day) and solved my problem for the price of a new oil; change. Thank you Tidelands Service! More
