Love my Lincoln One of my neighbors bought a beautiful SUV and I saw it for weeks and I finally asked them what it was and where they bought it. It was an MKC purch One of my neighbors bought a beautiful SUV and I saw it for weeks and I finally asked them what it was and where they bought it. It was an MKC purchased from Beach Ford so I drove 30 minutes to try I buy one for our family and they treated me so poorly. The salesman smelled like smoke and kept calling me sweetie so I decided to try Tidelands in Pawleys Island. My experience there was wonderful. My salesman’s name was David and he truly was professional. I would recommend everyone to ask for him when you go to Tidelands. He even called me three times after the sale to ask how I am doing. 5 stars!! More

Well I wasn't disappointed!! I HATE "HATED" BUYING CARS!!!! That's completely changed. I can honestly say it was fun buying a car for the first time in my life. I purchased a 2018 Ford Expedition and was going to also look at the Tahoe, Yukon and the Honda Pilot. Never happened! I'm extremely busy and it's hard for me to spend hours at a dealership and I explained this to Dave. This is where it gets good. Dave literally brought the vehicle I wanted to my office (different color than i wanted but actually ended up liking it more) and went over all the features and we took it for a ride. I had a trade in (2014 Honda Pilot) and Dave was able to get it appraised for me without even having to go to the dealership!! So I walked out of my office (not onto a car lot) got to look at the Expedition pressure free on my terms!! I called Dave an hour or so later and told him to get me some numbers. He called me back within 30 minutes with options. ACTUAL OPTIONS!! He quoted me the bottom line price and gave me several finance options along with lease options!! Remember, I've never even been to the dealership at this point! I asked him if he could do a little better on my trade in amount and we were able to quickly come to an agreement. 2 hours later, Dave was back at my office with all the paperwork!!! I signed all the documents, Dave connected my phone to my new car, covered everything about the car and then some, and off he went in my trade in!! I was/am floored! Finally a dealership that allows the customer to buy on their terms, not on the dealerships terms alone!! I wish Tidelands could literally train the whole auto industry on how to treat people. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM ANYWHERE ELSE IN MY LIFE!! Thanks Tidelands! More
Love my 3rd new Lincoln I have purchased 3 new Lincoln’s over the past 10 years from this local dealership and the sales experience has gotten better each time. And this last time Only took David about an hour. I do all of my service at Tidelands as well and I have been treated wonderful. More
POOR SERVICE DEPARTMENT I leased, really glad I didn't purchase, a 2015 Lincoln MKZ and was extremely happy with the entire sales experience. That's the best I can say about I leased, really glad I didn't purchase, a 2015 Lincoln MKZ and was extremely happy with the entire sales experience. That's the best I can say about the dealership. Almost from the start, I complained about the suspension on the car to be told it was normal. I took the car in for my free oil change and they would not give me my keys until I paid for it! It was to be free! After getting my salesperson involved, who involved the owner, they said it was a computer mix-up. WHAT! Then the suspension problems were addressed again only to be told everything was normal. After complaining loudly, they took the car in and rotated and balanced the tires to reveal that the rear tires were flat spotted. That issue was never dealt with. After many more complaints ending with the rear tires completely shot, they still refused to address the problem and then told to replace the tires and they would see if the problem was still there! The tires were not the problem. This should all be warranty issues covered under bumper to bumper coverage. Called Lincoln to complain and they were helpful, so I thought. I was told they would contact the dealership. This was over a month ago and still have not heard from either the dealership or Lincoln. I will never deal with this dealership again. More
