I had my 2008 F250 picked up and taken to Tidelands because the ignition system would not start the truck. I was told everything in the steering column had to be replaced costing me about $1000. When I because the ignition system would not start the truck. I was told everything in the steering column had to be replaced costing me about $1000. When I picked it up after the replacement, the blower for my air conditioning and heat did not work. I reported it immediately and had someone take a look before leaving. I said it was working when I brought it in and now it doesn’t and that something didn’t get reconnected. Oh noooo, they said the blower motor has gone bad and has to be replaced. Later, I took the truck to a repair shop in Walterboro and after their diagnostic, determined that the blower had not been reconnected when they replaced the ignition system. All they did was plug it in and everything started working. It cost me $80 to have someone else do what I paid Tidelands to do, which was put everything back in working order. Bottom line is, to them, I guess the customer is always wrong. They will never see me at that dealership ever again. More
