Came in for a problem with my van that was not properly diagnosed the first time and a week later I was back with the same problem. I originally paid around 4000 dollars for the initial fix. I had my van b diagnosed the first time and a week later I was back with the same problem. I originally paid around 4000 dollars for the initial fix. I had my van back for about a week when the same problem occurred. They then said it was actually a different part that was causing the problem and wanted me to pay an additional 4000 dollars to actually fix the problem. There was a lot of blame put on me for "driving my car a lot of miles". They also tried on multiple occasions to just have me trade in the vehicle and buy a new car through them. On top of everything else, the communication with the service department was terrible and the only time I was able to truly get communication was by constantly calling and having to ask for updates. I would caution anyone to use them for service if it is not a general service concern such as replacing tires or changing oil. More
The Manager of the service Department never returned my call. I Just so happened to call one day and spoke with Billy and he schedule the recall work that I’ve been waiting about 8 months to get done. I l call. I left my vehicle with the notion of them having it for about 3 days and it end up having it for 7-8 days. My car was having other issues but was never mentioned by anyone until I came to pickup my vehicle. I’m glad the recall is done now. Lakeland and Bartow Dealership needs more training in there service Center. More
