Worst dealership service department I have ever been in. The service manager Michael is a poor excuse for a employee let alone a manager. Poor communication skills would be an upgrade for him as well since The service manager Michael is a poor excuse for a employee let alone a manager. Also if you have an issue might as well just keep it to yourself because the service manager doesn't care, he will just sit there and smirk the whole time you're telling him what's wrong. More
Do more research before going there for service or sale. Service is way too expensive. They really don’t check your car throughly even though you are charged $ 130 just for them to check your car. sale. Service is way too expensive. I still Paid and they said nothing wrong the first time, second time charged me for something else. 3 weeks later my car needs a new rear differential (seriously? You guys didn’t notice that the two times I went asking for help?) About the sales department, my husband bought a car from them. They were all nice until we literally signed the contract, after that they never contacted us when we had questions, when they finally answered they were rude and even yelled at my husband.(Michael, Manager of sales and Steve from Sales) I will never stop by that dealership. BEWARE! I am writing because last year around this time mice had built a nest near my blower motor and I brought it into Thruway Nissan to have it cleaned out I am writing because last year around this time mice had built a nest near my blower motor and I brought it into Thruway Nissan to have it cleaned out, little did I know that it was a few minute fix (less than 10 minutes). They (Thruway Nissan Service) charged me $425.46 and never got everything out, though they told me they had to take the whole dashboard apart (which was not true), so I came back 3 times (which took A LOT of my time and being without a car) because they left stuff in there. AND, they cut the back side of my blower motor cage/compartment for easy access, altering my car, which was not right because they never informed me they were going to do this. I am writing because it happened again this year (the mice built a nest) and I could not afford to bring it back in to have it cleaned out. It took my husband and I less than 10 minutes to clean out and I am wondering what on earth I was charged $425 (and change) for? We took out 5 screws on the glove compartment and stuck the vacuum into the motor blower and vacuumed the nest out. I feel like Thruway Nissan Service Department is VERY dishonest and took advantage of me. $425 for less than 10 minute job!!!! After seeing what little time and effort was required, it just made me sick that I was charged this much. I have been in contact with a friend who is a mechanic down in NC and he told me I was robbed, that any reputable person/car place would never charge that much. I can understand $62.50 (30 minutes labor---3x- 10 minutes labor= 30 minutes) MAYBE for undoing 5 screws and sticking a vacuum hose in and sucking out a nest.....but to charge me $425.46 ($400.00 on labor!!!! Emoji) is unethical and just downright dishonest. On top of that they sprayed a toxic spray in there, which was so potent, I had to drive with the windows down in the middle of winter for a month. And they charged me for changing the cabin filter ($35), which I buy and change myself because you can buy a cabin filter online for $10 and change it in less than 5 minutes. I wrote to Thruway Nissan (the Service Manager & General Manager) and will be updating this review if they do anything to make this right, which at this point, the only thing they can do to make it right is to refund me my money minus a half hour labor ($62.50). So far, they have just ignored my email...but I will update with the outcome. If they don't do anything, I will NEVER be returning there, and will make sure to tell ALL my friends and family (and anyone else who will listen) so they do not get scammed out of their money as well. It shocks me how dishonest some people are! More

Horrible Service Experience I was in quite some time ago for a transmission overheating issue, not once, but twice. It was blatantly exhibiting symptoms like the tach going up to I was in quite some time ago for a transmission overheating issue, not once, but twice. It was blatantly exhibiting symptoms like the tach going up to 2000 while going 20mph as well as whining very loudly. I even filmed it and showed them. Someone even took it home. I was told they never heard it. Low and behold a few years later I now work with a Nissan Master tech and was informed they had a Technical Service Bulletin on it due to all the issues that would fix the overheating issue. He feels since it's not an easy job they did not want to be bothered. Real professional. More
