Finance Manager, Mike Starace is a con man. He added $604 for a Deposit Program that i cancelled 30 minutes after driving off the lot upon reviewvof my papers. This was on Janurary 7, 2023. The car was paid off within 72 hours after issuance and the NYS title is about to be released. Additionally, i have filed a complaint with NYS DMV. As of to date, i have been unable to receive an update on mt refund. The GM thinks that he is to important to return my call. The crook Mike Starace deserved to be in Orange Jump suit. He is not returning calls either. The Accounting office is always not available. Don’t be fool by their extremely low used car price, they will try every way to get you from other things. I got a quote for my trade-in from “nissan at home” for $13,800 on my car, which said guaranteed (KB will try every way to get you from other things. Of course, I did not expected the dealer to give me that much, but at least something close to that. They offered me more than $5,000 less. When I show them the quote they just completely ignore it (what’s the point of Nissan having this then). After negotiating for a more reasonable value for my trade, they never told me about other fees until they asked me to sign over my title and everything. Then in the finance document the car price is almost $1,000 more than what they list on the web that we agree on. When I asked, he just said it’s a prep fee of $995. I asked if that’s for the dealer, he said it’s for all dealer in the state (which after checking, that does not seem to be the case). He said it is supposed to cover the cost of preparing the car for sale. I would not mind paying for something they did. However, when I drove out, I notice that the check engine message on the dashboard was on and the sticker on the windshield indicated that the car was 3k miles overdue (my bad, should have sen this when I test drive). Obviously, the dealer did not check the car before putting it for sale. At that point I was too tired to go back and deal with them, figured I already signed everything, they most likely won’t do anything for me. It just showed that the dealer are not honest. They did not service the car as they should before they put the car for sale but charged almost a thousand dollar for it. The salesperson told me that the car was just in for 4 days. I talked to another dealer about the car they listed on their web and was told that the car was just came in and was undergoing check and not ready to sell yet. They could have done the same, but they just don’t care and just sell any car to you and put whatever charge on it to get the most money from you. They do have the most selection within 100 miles from me though, and that is the reason I am willing to drive and deal with them. This is the car that fit all my preferences so I kind of willing to pay for the car I want. So if you are looking for a specific car, they probably have one that meet your criteria. If not I think you should go elsewhere. Don’t be too excited with the price you see on their web because they will trick you on everything. You might end up paying more than other dealer and the great deal you see on the price might not be that good of a deal after all. More
I came in to Lease a brand new rogue and right away was introduced to Steve. Let's just say 3 hours later I drove off in my brand new rogue. Thanks Steve you are the best of the best. My experience at Thruway Nissan was amazing. My salesperson was Steve Fernandez and I couldn’t ask for anyone better. He answered every question I had, he talked me through the entire deal. This location has the worst customer service I have ever seen. As soon as I walked in no one said anything. Then as soon as someone came up, didn’t even state his name( Steve Fernandez). I had to look at his business card on his desk to see what his name was. He just sat us down and was soo dry. Did not even make me fell good about buying a car. It was this is all I have, your. Not going to find this car anywhere else for a better price. Just laughed in our faces. So rude.Didn’t show us around. Seemed like he didn’t even care. When a salesman laughs in your face because your looking for something more affordable that’s when you know it’s time to go. So I drove 40 minutes away to Rockland Nissan and within 2 hours I left with a new car fully loaded SUV at the price I was looking for and they were soo attentive to my needs. My recommendation is to make the trip to Rockland Nissan. Totally worth the drive. I can guarantee it. More

I did my research on Thruway Nissan, at first I was skeptical from some past reviews I had seen. However, I took into consideration that most negative reviews were from years prior. I am happy to say I took a chance and financed a vehicle from this location. I will highly recommend Thruway Nissan to those looking to purchase or finance a vehicle! My first time experience; I had called about a car I had found online, being advertised on Autotrader, and I am so glad I did! Sales rep Steve Fernandez was by far the best of anyone that I could have imagined in service as being a sales rep. He was timely, understanding of my needs, and exceptional in all the ways that counted and more! Not only did he take the time to speak with me when the store was closing, he made time for me to come in and test drive the vehicle I was interested in at my convenience. Steve was an absolute pleasure to “work” with because he was so friendly, sweet, outgoing, and informative during the entire process! As I entered the dealership, I was immediately greeted by Steve, who acknowledged me by my name, before I even said who I was. He made me feel like a priority and not just another sale. Even after I had shown up later than I was expected, he went out of his way to make sure I had the opportunity to buy the car that I wanted, because it was almost sold to another customer at a different location.
