I am truly sorry that you had a bad experience here at the dealership. My name is David and I am the owner of the store and appreciate the feedback. I wish that I could have resolved your problem / made your experience better while you were here. I tried to contact you thru Dealer rater but that option is not available to me unless we pay dealerrater for your information. I belive that that would be wrong to get your info from them. So if you would like to contact me my number is 413-562-1000. I would very much like a call to hear what happened so we can improve. This might sound crazy but do you work at Steve Lewis

This is a respose from Thrifty Car Sales ( Westfield Ma.) In todays electronic world it is very easy for a customer to comment on a business whenever they feel as though they did not recieve the product or service that they deserved. However in this case as I am about to demonstrate this customer is way off base. Mrs M purchased a certified 2006 Nissan Murano under FULL FACTORY WARRANTY with only 20165 miles. This vehicle carries a warranty to 60000 miles or 4 years. At time of purchase she had approx 8 months of Nissan factory warranty. Prior to purchase this vehicle was certified by an ASE certified tech from a national sevice provider ( RECORDS AVAILABLE ). It would be nice if Mrs M also noted in her comments that she brought the vehicle to her own mechanic after we Certified the vehicle and prior to sale and he gave it a A+ rating . Do I doubt that her battery could have died (if she left a light on installed other electrical equiptment ect) Do I doubt that the vehicle probaly had a locking lug installed and when her mechanic looked at the brakes on the vehicle prior to sale and the lock was lost. Do I doubt that the vehicle had no oil in it YES I do. The vehicles oil was changes on 1/12/2010 with 20177 miles (Have Records)and the vehicle is eqquipped with an oil light We had asked Mrs M to bring the vehicle into us to look at her reply was you are too far. We offered her a loaner vehicle her response I am going to have the vehicle fixed and you are going to pay for it. Our reply was and still is no. We take our customers satisfaction very seriously and maintain that we went above and beyond with Mrs M. God Bless David

Wow...as expected they blame the customer for a dead battery and no oil..hmmm ...they dealership and Firestone and Jiffy Lube can verify the problems that I report...I brought the bill for a new battery they refused to pay it blaming me! Now if order to rotate the tires I have to bring my car back to them for more inconvenience? They are lucky that I brought the car in for a 3000 mile oil change or the engine would have seized from lack of oil. Is this anyway to treat an unhappy customer? Blame them for things not done right in the first place? Should I trust THEM to fix the lug problem? The wheels had lug locks and you lost the key so you remedy the problem by breaking them off and jimmying the incorrect lug on so I have to have the stubs redone? I think I'll have the dealer do it correctly thank you!! 90 day warranty with strings attached. Very bad customer relations in my opinion.

I can see that you did not dispute the fact that you took the vehicle to your mechanic prior to sale. Question? Was his report a mirror of our certification report that the vehicle was in great condition? Answer YES Question? Was the vehicle under full factory warranty? Answer Yes. Question? Was the vehicle covered under Massachusetts Limited used vehicle warranty? Answer Yes. Like every dealer in the state at our shop only. Question? If we both paid to have the vehicle inspected and both mechanics possibly could have missed these issues why would a customer refuse to bring the vehicle back to the dealer to have the issues addressed? You dont dispute that you were offered a loaner vehicle to address your concerns. You just refused and and said I am sending a bill. I wish that you could look back and see why we go over each warranty State, Manufacturer, and dealer in length with each customer. It is to ensure that all customers know what procedures are required to fulfill their obligations. I don't want to consume any more time re 2006 Murano customer. I wish you the best. God Bless David Question? Do you think that we were unreasonable for a dealer to want to look at the vehicle prior to spending money to fix something that both your mechanic and ours stated were in good shape.

How truly unprofessional of your car sales store. If you truly valued my business you would have reimbursed my repairs end of story. A quality shop stands behind their cars, end of story. Why would I make up these petty problems with the car. Oh, by the way I refinanced the car so you not only lost my future business and any referrals I might have given you; you also lost $3000; the interest on the loan. I will use the money I just save to get the vehicle fixed properly. Now was it really worth it to you to be so difficult? This has been my worst car buying experience at 50 years of age and 9 vehicles. I am glad to be done with Thrifty Auto and will never go back.

Mam, A couple of quick points: You called the issues with you vehicle petty not us. Not to add any gas to the fire but we are not a bank and do not make the intrest on the loan the lender does. We do stand by our vehicles like the majority of reputable dealers do. Per Massachusetts warranty guidelines this is done at our shop not a third party 60 days later. ***** Why did you change your original comments / concerns and edit them ***** I addressed your concerns one by one to ensure that if anyone spent the time to read the comments they could see that we went above and beyond to try to make you happy to no avail. ************
