SCAM PAID 9117$ cash for my car and paid over 7000$ in repairs for new engine after 2 months of purchase!! Unprofessional as well!! DO NOT GO HERE!! SCAM SCAM SXAM!!! SOLD ME A LEMON.. BAD ENGINE BAD ALTERNATOR!!!!!DONT PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!! The most horrible car dealership in Maryland!! PLEASE do not go here!! I bought a 2013 Hyundai sonata for 9CASH NO PAYMENTS from thrifty car sales. I had the car for A little over 60 days when the car broke down. I towed the car to the Hyundia dealer and they conducted a diagnostic Test on the the car which resulted in the car having a BAD ALTERNATOR and a BAD ENGINE. The service provider explained to me that the ALTERNATOR and ENTIRE ENGINE was no good and needed to be REPLACED. I then reached out to thrifty car sales and explain the situation to Mike the owner. Mike the owner cut me off in mid conversation and said in an unprofessional tone your pass your 60 day mark and we can’t do nothing for you!!! Without even allow me to speak with the owner or Finish explaining speaking . I felt he handle my situation very unprofessional and was not sympathetic towards my situation. I asked to speak to the owner of Mike and was told he was not in the office. I was given the runaround for a entire month ,trying to contact the owner Mike without no return call after leaving several messages with Emily and other employees in their office. I also emailed Mike the Owner. When speaking to Emily the “assistant “she was very unsympathetic towards my situation and kept making excuses for Mike the owner. She was very rude when speaking with her. This car dealership sold me a warranty called Royal drive warranty that didn’t cover none of the cost of the repairs with the highest deductible of 500$. I paid a total of 1940$ for the warranty. I asked for a refund for the warranty. They subtracted 600$ so dollars from my refund according to the mileage driven on my car. I spent a total of $6000 in repairs to my vehicle. I was treated unfair and was scammed. I was also told by a professional that the Engine he needs to be replaced before the car was sold to me. This has been the worst experience of Car Buy in my life. I lost money from work and was unable to go to college or take my son to school. In no way Thrifty car sales Owner and Manager try to help in my situation. I will not refer this business to anyone who Interested in purchasing a vehicle . It will be a waste of your time and money. Everyone in the office was very unprofessional unsympathetic. Everyone I came in contact in that office was unprofessional. More
