DONT BUY HERE - save yourself from repairs and headaches I bought a used car from Thrifty and was assured by service manager that the timing belt had been replaced. The manufacture states to replace at between 80,000 to 100,000 miles, and having owned a previous make of same vehicle I was aware of this. That was the reason behind my question and decision. My mistake to not get it in writing. 60 days and a thousand miles later the timing belt broke. After $1400 and tow charges I am now aware of the shady business and probably legality of this business and owner Adam Gold ring. More

Screwed by Adam at thirfty. We just sent our Mercedes back to Linder the car has been in the shop every since we bought it. It's never ran right first 3000 miles it was in the shop eight times Adams warrantee is to Band-Aid your car till it gets 3000 miles on it and then you're screwed . We know have filed a case with the attorney general's office because we wish this on nobody else. We had to buy a brand-new car because we couldn't drive the one we bought we were told by Scottsdale benz it would prob catch fire while driving it I have text from Adam himself saying we were screwed. This is the shadiest used car lot in all of Arizona please don't buy here More

not good quality vehicles I bought a wrangler 4 cylinder. Very first day after purchase it overheated,low power and a vibration with the motor. Also the clutch grinded gears. Told them I wanted to get a different vehicle cause this Just didn't seem right. They told me wait make an appointment to have their mechanic look at it and they'll take care of it. So week goes by I don't hear anything. I call they say bad throttle body they ordered it and are waiting to get it. Another week goes by no call. So I call them and it's done. Throttle body was used not new. So I drive it one day and it has death wobble. Front end vibrates violently. undrivable. Take it back again and they say trailing arm bushings have play shop wants 700 to replace. Plus they magically feel no wobble. Keep in mind I've had the car a total of four days. So I replaced the shocks but still have a vibration and wobble. So now of course they don't warranty all these parts just main drivetrain even though I've had it a total of four days. So now of course radiator blew going back to the overheating I told them in the beginning but no warranty I called and asked on the side of the rad. Also I took the top down and yep the poles are broken and the mount over the windshield is broken off on the drivers side. Good thing they have that vehicle inspection. Do yourself a favor and do better research than I did. Lesson learned. More

The reason why my review is lengthy is because I was very skeptical from reading the negative ones. I live in Northen Az and rarely make the 100 mile trip to phoenix area. I found a very nice used Toyota Sienna on craigslist and called Thrifty Auto Sales. I spoke with Nick, their online salesman. I told him I have a trade in that I owe money on and I would like to trade it in and keep my payments in the ballpark of my current truck. I also told him that I DO NOT want to go down there to "work out a deal". He was SUPER respectful and understanding. He asked for pictures and vin of my trade forwarded the info to James who guaranteed me a very fair trade in. I told Nick I was making the drive and he personally hand detailed the van after hours so it would be ready. I arrived and just as they said the truck was traded in for what I was asking, the van was beautiful, their was a seatbelt issue that was fixed on site while we were doing the paperwork. The staff on site was very courteous and professional. Dave the finance guy was very knowledgable and willing to slow down and explain if I didn't understand something. Thank You NICK for being patient and seeing this deal through even after I told you I didn't like the reviews I had read. The family could not be more pleased with Van!! More
