Monday, 8:00am when the service department opened I dropped my car off to fix a leak in the coolant system. Thought it was a hose, quoted 2-3 hours so I decided to stay and wait. 8:51am l got a call from my advisor that it was the thermostat leaking and had to be replaced. Gave them the OK to do the work… still waiting and 11:45am I decide to check on the car. They sent someone to look at it and the young man told me himself “looks like they’re almost done” I continue to wait 12:55pm i walk back into the service center and ask “what’s taking so long? My car should have been done by 11-11:30am” my service advisor told me “they needed to order the thermostat and they JUST received it 15 minutes ago so the tech should be done around 2pm” I told them this was unacceptable for extremely poor communication. I missed an entire day of work. A 2-3 hour job turned into 6.5 hours. More
