I am not very happy. I have a new car which I just bought in August. Something went wrong with it in September. This of course is not the dealer's fault and I don't blame them at all. However, the handling and communication of it is what I am a disappointed with. I had a 60 day check up appt. I was told that the part to fix the car was in and I could have it all done on the same day. When I came in, the parts were not there, so I wasted a day. How can they do a 60 day check up when clearly there is something wrong with the car. Then I called about a week later to see if the part had come in. Greg told me he is going to check and call me back. I never received a call back yet. I had to call again a week afterwards, and the part is still not there. They tell me they are going to call me when it comes in because it should be in this upcoming week. Let's see what happens. Communication is definitely lacking. More
So, I called & set my original appointment on Oct 25th for Tue 11/2. I made it clear that my issue was with three of my tires continuously loosing pressure. I also made it very clear to the lady I had spo for Tue 11/2. I made it clear that my issue was with three of my tires continuously loosing pressure. I also made it very clear to the lady I had spoken to that I’d like to make sure in the event needed that at the very least 3 replacement tires would be in stock before my 11/2 visit so that I wouldn’t have to loose an additional day from work if I had to return for the tires the following day. Well, after looking up the tire size she confirmed the tires were in stock and assured me not to worry that she would have the tires put to the side for my visit on 11/2. Unfortunately during my visit on 11/2 I was told what I had feared, that I needed 3 new tires due to several pin hole leaks in addition to several screws which had damaged the tires. However to my surprise the tires were no longer in stock causing me to have to make an additional trip from Bayonne another time to have the tires replaced. This was absolutely unacceptable and super upsetting given my previous phone conversation with the lady from the service Dept. Fortunately, I was being helped by Mr. Ed Gonzalez who has to be by far the most kind, understanding & professional service rep I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with. He made it his business to regularly check in with me while I waited in the lounge and made sure I was comfortable & not in need of anything. The best part was that he wasn’t only that way with me. The entire time I was there I observed him be consistent with every single customer he came into contact with as well. Although this was the very first time meeting Ed out of my many visits, I’m absolutely certain Ed is & will continue to be an absolute asset to the Three County Volkswagen Service family. Lastly, although I was forced to have to return on another date to finally receive the replacement tires, I was no longer bitter & upset given Ed was now in charge of my matter and was communicating with me until the very end. It was an absolute pleasure being taken care of by Mr. Ed Gonzalez More
