Tru County VW bad experience Brought my car in to Tru County VW as my Hybrid light went on and soon after my car wouldn’t start. It was towed to Tru County VW leaving me stranded Brought my car in to Tru County VW as my Hybrid light went on and soon after my car wouldn’t start. It was towed to Tru County VW leaving me stranded in New Jersey and I live in Long Island. They said there was a hose leak which caused my problem, never saw any signs of a leak in my Driveway but ok. I got the car back and complained that the shifting was not right and I was now only getting 30 MPG ( supposed to get 49 MPG) took it back and they said they did not feel problem. Drove away and felt it was not right. Called and they said make an appointment. I continued to drive it and again Hybrid light came on and I brought it back as last time I shut it off it wouldn’t start. They said they got a code for Brake boost so they said they just reset it and it didn’t come back. They also said they reset the system.... funny it started to shift. Soon after the light came on again and they said sorry your now out of warranty and would have to pay. I call VW of America and showed them all the correspondence sand they said they would pay for part! I was responsible for labor! I had purchased this car with certified pre owned. And I still got screwed. This was our 5th VW.... NEVER AGAIN WOULD I PURCHASE. I guess it’s like they say BUYER BEWARE! More
