Service visit I believe the $625 service test that was recommended was not truly needed. Although the car is 4 yrs. old, it has been rarely driven during that time I believe the $625 service test that was recommended was not truly needed. Although the car is 4 yrs. old, it has been rarely driven during that time (23k miles). The car is in near mint condition. One does not have to be a rocket scientist to see this. Had the car been subjected to heavy usage and abuse then that service test would be justified. And the fact that the service person could not objectively understand this reasoning is beyond reproach. I find this strategy by VW to be very unethical. That said, I will not be buying another VW nor any other car from your dealership in the future. More
