Car damaged while in shop Brought car in for problems with ignition cyclinder and an oil change. Received car back with a broken window motor. Was told on the telephone it wa Brought car in for problems with ignition cyclinder and an oil change. Received car back with a broken window motor. Was told on the telephone it was going up. I received my car back window would not stay up and was taped up with yellow tape. Looked like a crime scene. It will cost more than original problem to get fixed per estimation given at the time I got car back. I was advised that after all the car was nine years old and it was not their fault that it broke. I also had to keep calling. To find out when car would be finished. Told paperwork was still on Tony Martin’s desk and he would return my call. This was Friday. No return call. Saturday when I called. I was told Tony was off and paperwork still on his desk. Received a call around 2 pm and told car was finished. Was not told what my car looked like until I arrived to pick it up. Just digusted with the whole experience. More

Happy with service I usually go to the same mechanic I've always gone to, but my mechanic was booked and I had an in-warranty issue so I took my car to a dealer for serv I usually go to the same mechanic I've always gone to, but my mechanic was booked and I had an in-warranty issue so I took my car to a dealer for service. The advisor I worked with gave me upfront and honest expectations for price and time estimate (and the estimate matched the outcome), and the dealer provided a free shuttle service to take me home while they worked on it and pick me up when they were done. Admittedly, I will still always prefer my normal mechanic because I'm a creature of habit, but I would definitely reccommend Thompson Hyundai service as reputable and reliable if you need your Hyundai worked on. More
