I had an issue with the service department. I calmly brought my concerns to the attention of manager Frank Kowalski, and he was able to rectify the situation. Went for 1st oil change on 7/5/2013 thru the express lane, & when I went to p.u., I noticed the invoice had the wrong mileage, so I told her th & she said she'll tell the person in shop to correct it & lane, & when I went to p.u., I noticed the invoice had the wrong mileage, so I told her th & she said she'll tell the person in shop to correct it & that I'll be met at the vehicle. I waited for over 10 mins. & went back in to see what the hang-up was & after going into shop she had the wrong still. I asked her who's responsible for the error & she implied that it wasn't her. I also aked her to edit the invoice so that the right mileage will be computer for the next time, & that wasn't done either. After 3 tries, she almost did it wrong again as we were next to the car! Even though she apologized, I believe that of all the dealerships I've dealt with in the over 40 yrs. of contact with a service dept., you rate at 1+ out of 5,with 5 being *****s. I called to see if i can go to another Chrysler dealer to have my 2 vehicles serviced at the same time and they assured me i could go there and no waiting and if i wanted my free oil change & car wash i had have my 2 vehicles serviced at the same time and they assured me i could go there and no waiting and if i wanted my free oil change & car wash i had to go there. I left my work early and called my daughter off school to take both vehicles there and i had a 1 1/2 hr wait and i did not get my vehicle washed when i asked about the wash they poured water on it and sent me my way. I live in Portage and drove across town to have this service done. I have purchased all of my vehicles from Thomas Dodge and have had no problems like i did yesterday. I was not only inconvenienced but had to loose a half days pay. Service man Alex ? was very nice and tried hard to get me on my way. I came to work this morning expressing my feelings to my co-workers. My husnand is due for his oil change as well and if it wasn't the fact that we had to go there i definately would choose another place closer. Word of mouth is what brings a customer back with good service,. However i am sorry to say i DEFINATELY did not get that yesterday. Thank You More

The very first time I came to Thomas for a problem I was having with my sound system (the speaker on the right side or a component thereof was making popping noises), the gentleman who assisted me at the ti having with my sound system (the speaker on the right side or a component thereof was making popping noises), the gentleman who assisted me at the time was very polite, but the person who did the diagnosis was rude and sarcastic in his comments relative to the issue I was experiencing (the gentleman showed me the comments.) I am still experiencing the problem, but I have decided to take the vehicle to a stereo place in order to find out what is really going on. For that reason, I had not returned to Thomas for service. But, Tim was a total contradiction - he was so nice to me! He told me what was wrong with my vehicle, and made me feel very comfortable and appreciated. Because of him, I have totally changed my opinion of Thomas' service department, and will be back for service going forward. You guys owe Tim big - he is awesome! More
