I purchased a MINI Countryman from The Taverna Collection on October 23rd, and my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. Living in Colorado, I had to rely on the dealership and their salesman as m on October 23rd, and my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. Living in Colorado, I had to rely on the dealership and their salesman as my eyes and ears. While they did provide lots of pictures and videos, and I initially thought I was getting a great deal, it quickly became clear that something was seriously wrong with the car. The transmission has a major issue that will cost nearly $9,500 to fix. The car isn’t undriveable, but you have to be extremely gentle with it, sometimes skipping over 2nd gear because it pops out when coming off load. It's clear to me they knew about this issue—how could they not, especially if they drove the car at all? To make matters worse, this wasn't disclosed before the sale. The car also arrived with several glass chips in the windshield. While I have good insurance coverage for that, it’s just another indication of the lack of attention to detail. However, the worst part of this entire experience has been the complete lack of communication post-sale. I’ve been waiting for over 2 months now for my title, registration, and hard plates. I was told on November 5th that it would take 10-14 business days once I returned the paperwork (which I did on November 6th). Fast forward to January 6th—still nothing. My temporary tags expired at the end of December, and despite my constant attempts to contact them via email (8 times) and text (13 times), no one has responded adequately. I was given a brief response from my salesman, but he hasn’t followed up since. It's incredibly frustrating to be ignored repeatedly by a dealership that should be providing basic customer service. I have contacted five different people at the dealership and received no timely response, or in some cases, no response at all. The total lack of communication and follow-through is beyond unprofessional. I wish I could go back in time and avoid this dealership. My experience has been a complete disappointment, and I will never recommend them to anyone. More

Awesome buying experience with Jan Carlos! My vehicle was delivered quickly. They took great care of my purchase. I love the car!!! I took it to have it inspected by a reputable dealership. My vehicle was delivered quickly. They took great care of my purchase. I love the car!!! I took it to have it inspected by a reputable dealership. They told me that it’s a good car with no issues found at all. This was my first online purchase, and I was so hesitant at first. I’m so glad everything worked out in my favor. They sold me a great car! More
I DO NOT RECOMMEND! SCAM! SELLS BAD CARS! First of all, as soon as I sat in the car, the check engine light came on.—an engine problem costing approximately $2,500. (I SCAM! SELLS BAD CARS! First of all, as soon as I sat in the car, the check engine light came on.—an engine problem costing approximately $2,500. (I went to a mechanic to check) Unfortunately, this issue was evident as the check engine light was already on at delivery time, which they denied. It’s essential to understand that purchasing a car online requires trust, particularly when acceptance is sight-unseen. Yet, the customer service department's response suggested a disconnect, advising me to "READ WHAT I SIGN NEXT TIME". I was also surprised to learn about the financial implications of returning the car. It was not made clear initially that returning a vehicle within their 5 day return policy would be $2500!,Again, I literally just satin the car, hadnt gone anywhere yet. Based on my experience, here is a piece of advice for future customers: Consider restarting the vehicle multiple times before finalizing your purchase to ensure any persistent issues reappear. This way, if they ckear your codes like they did to me, you will see what they cleared by the time you restart the car 4x. Though the company did offer a partial remedy of $500 and requested me to sign a NDA for this compensation, I delcine the $500 just so that I could warn people about them. DO NOT SHOP HERE. For transparency and to assist others in their purchasing decisions, I felt it necessary to share these observations. Moving forward, a detailed review and clear HONEST communication from both parties are crucial to avoid similar situations. More

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. I had to pay for a key fob as the car arrived with a key fob without a key. $332 dollars that the Taverna Dealership would not reimburse me for. I I had to pay for a key fob as the car arrived with a key fob without a key. $332 dollars that the Taverna Dealership would not reimburse me for. I live in Utah and the car shipped from FL. I was advised I bought the car as a used car, and it was not their problem. Had I known the key fob was inoperable, I would NOT HAVE BOUGHT the care until it was replaced. The information about the key fob was withheld from me, and they said they were unaware. Anybody at that dealership that started the car would have known because the only way the car would start is if you placed the key fob on the floor of the center console between the seats. REALLY?? They didn't know? I call xxxxxxxxx. Now I'm afraid that they lied to me about the condition of the engine, and I am hoping I am wrong. Unprofessional, dishonest and liars. I wish I would have read about them in the BBB before I bought a car from them. So many negative comments, as I found out after I bought the car and looked into BBB. More
Do yourself a favor and look up this dealership on the Better Business Bureau website. I found a car that looked like a good deal on the Car Guru's website that the Taverna Collection was selling. The dea Better Business Bureau website. I found a car that looked like a good deal on the Car Guru's website that the Taverna Collection was selling. The dealership is great at responding initially as soon as you express any interest in the car. Then it's all a steep downhill decline from there. I went through with purchasing the car. I regret it now as the day after the car was delivered we found so many issues with it. You can clearly tell the car they sold me was in an accident. I contacted the dealership and was told I needed to take the vehicle in somewhere for an inspection and have them write up an invoice. They would not just take our word, photos, or videos regarding the issue. They also told me if it was found the frame was bad they would help me get it returned without needing to pay the $4,000+ return fee. We then took the car in, got an invoice written up that ended up finding the car would need over $6,000 to fix all the issues with it. The person who did the invoice/inspection also stated he didn't feel this car was safe to drive. But, due to the wording in the invoice as "may need replacement" the dealership only offered to pay to replace the broken radiator shield. If I would have accepted that deal, I would have had to sign a non-disclosure agreement preventing me from moving forward with the complaints I plan to file. I still also have never received my $500 deposit back. This place is the WORST. Please only buy a car from there if you can inspect it yourself. I live in MI and opted to have it delivered because I thought it was a reputable dealership but I was so very wrong. This place is an absolute disgrace. I have never been so disappointed. The lack of communication and transparency is frustrating. They clearly do this to a lot of customers as well because I had received an email asking for an invoice on the "smoking issue from hood" which was an issue I did not have with this vehicle I purchased. That email was meant for another customer with issues. More
Unbelievable the run around you will get. Process started out well with Werner and Nick.... and then ZERO FOLLOWUP once purchased. It has been 2 months and cannot get a single email respons Process started out well with Werner and Nick.... and then ZERO FOLLOWUP once purchased.
