I will never go here again! I got my car from Detroit- I live in GR- went to local Jag for service- they scheduled me an appointment, I blocked my schedule (I am a healthcare pro I got my car from Detroit- I live in GR- went to local Jag for service- they scheduled me an appointment, I blocked my schedule (I am a healthcare professional) - they emailed the DAY before- opps, they forgot they were ctually closed. I came in on another day, the BMW specialist had NO clue what to do with the Jaguar and told me to come back another day (the online scheduling did not tell me there would not be a Jaguar service specialist availble or not) I have taken my servicing needs an hour away to jaguar kalamazoo, and intend on makign the drive every time, where they are actually priofesisonal and courteous and won't waste your time!!! I brought my 2002 MINI Cooper S for evaluation of overheating and was advised the radiator fan needed to be replaced, After that service the problem recurred and when I returned was assured it was o overheating and was advised the radiator fan needed to be replaced, After that service the problem recurred and when I returned was assured it was only a fuse which was replaced at no charge and no record of the visit was made. When the problem happened again, a search of the internet revealed the power steering pump fan and radiator fan to be on the same electrical circuit. If the power steering pump fan goes bad (and apparently this is a common problem as the fan is under the car in the dirt and grime) it blows the fuse and the radiator fan does not work. I replaced the power steering fan myself and have had no further overheating problems or blown fuses. When I returned to ask them if they felt any responsibility for the original misdiagnosis of the overheating problem, I was told there was nothing they could do for me. I cannot recommend this dealership for MINI service. More
We purchased a new BMW X-5 a year ago and have had a few questions regarding Navigation and Electronics. I worked with Quentin Groce several times; he was extremely knowledgeable, professional and very plea questions regarding Navigation and Electronics. I worked with Quentin Groce several times; he was extremely knowledgeable, professional and very pleasant to work with. I have been in the service industry my entire life and have rarely encountered an individual so committed to making the customer's experience as satisfying as possible. He is definitely an asset to The Sharpe Collection and I would highly recommend Quentin as your go-to salesperson!!! More
I was extremely disappointed with the customer service and my overall experience from Sharpe BMW. I called to inquire about service on my BMW SUV after I had had it serviced multiple times in the last fe and my overall experience from Sharpe BMW. I called to inquire about service on my BMW SUV after I had had it serviced multiple times in the last few weeks by a local mechanic and it was decided that a computer update was needed on my vehicle only the dealership could provide. When I called initially, Ramon was insistent that I would need a diagnostic test and probably need to replace the part that I had replaced a week prior after I had just explained that this was indeed not the issue. After doing some research and calling around, I spoke with Ramon again and explained that I only wanted to do the computer update that had been recommended. He was very short with me on the phone and I didn't feel he was being honest with me at all. We have had work done at Sharpe on other BMW vehicles that we have owned and thought their prices were a little high, but when I called around to other BMW dealers in our area I found their estimates to be outrageous. At Sharpe I was quoted 5 times the amount as the dealership in Kalamazoo quoted me. I think there is some price gouging going on at Sharpe. I know I will never take either of my BMW's there again. I just don't think they are an honest dealership. BMW is a brand that prides themselves on excellence and luxury and my experience with Sharpe was certainly neither of these. More
I was at work in downtown, GR. The weather was terrible, to say the least. I needed to continue working and, given the weather, it would have taken an hour to be picked up by a Sharpe employee, brought to to say the least. I needed to continue working and, given the weather, it would have taken an hour to be picked up by a Sharpe employee, brought to Sharpe to get a loaner, and, then, drive back downtown. To keep that from happening, after Sharpe closed at 6:30 p.m., Mick, in service, had his wife follow him from Sharpe to drop off a loaner to me at my downtown office. He did so, even though he had to go well out of the way from where he lives. Rarely, if ever, do you see that kind of service these days. Kudos to Mick for going way, way above and beyond. And kudos to Sharpe for finding and keeping people like Mick. More
I certainly would steer clear of this dealership. I have a validated warranty claim that I have been attempting to get resolved with them all summer. They certainly are intensely friendly but regrettably, a validated warranty claim that I have been attempting to get resolved with them all summer. I hired Sharpe BMW to conduct a used vehicle inspection on a 2004 BMW 641ci convertible that I am considering purchasing from a private party. I had a very positive and friendly experience. The service r on a 2004 BMW 641ci convertible that I am considering purchasing from a private party. I had a very positive and friendly experience. The service representative conducting the inspection for me discovered two recalls that had not been taken care of. Both of those items were corrected. A very detailed review of the vehicle was performed. I was provided a hard copy of the service documentation for the inspection. I am very impressed with all the personnel I came into contact with today. Every one was very friendly and helpful. Mic did a great job explaining the details of the used vehicle inspection and reviewing the findings with me. I will do business with this team in the future. More
I've avoided this dealership like the plague and had my car serviced at German Auto; wasn't impressed with how I was treated. This recall brought me back, I was treated with courtesy and the required repa car serviced at German Auto; wasn't impressed with how I was treated. This recall brought me back, I was treated with courtesy and the required repair was done efficiently and on time.
