We have 2009 Honda Pilot with approximately $33,000 miles. We took the vehicle in for service after hearing a thumping noise near the driver's front tire. Our warranty had just expired 20 days prior miles. We took the vehicle in for service after hearing a thumping noise near the driver's front tire. Our warranty had just expired 20 days prior to the service visit. Turns out the struts and brackets were damaged and needed to be replaced. These usually last 75-100k miles. We felt we should not have to pay for these repairs as the vehicle is serviced by Honda on a regular basis and this should have been caught much earlier. I called our original sales person Oren Ferguson and he spoke on our behalf to the owner of the dealership and the Honda Goodwill. Honda ended up covering 90% of the cost to repair the vehicle. Oren helped turn a potentially bad situation around and made us happy at the end of the day. More
Mark worked with me to make sure that I understood what was wrong with my car and necessary to fix. He also got me the best price on all the work and helped me figure out all the dealership coupons. Went in for a oil change and came out with a number of items needing to be addressed. Went in the next day and ended up paying two grand with almost $1300 in labor costs for a days worth of work. I purchased my car in the Naperville location where I had great service, however I live in Joliet and often have my vehicle serviced at the Honda Superstore of Joliet. Every time I visit this location I am great service, however I live in Joliet and often have my vehicle serviced at the Honda Superstore of Joliet. Every time I visit this location I am greeted with a smile and what I consider excellent customer service. This past week I went in to have my oil changed and was greeted by Heidi Gross, a pleasant woman who greeted me like she knew me. Honda is very lucky to have an employee like Heidi! Also, last month I went in to have my brakes done and was helped by Riley Niznik. As I was in the waiting area this past week Riley greeted me by name, asked me how my job was going.... he remembered all those things just meeting me one time. As a consumer with this type of service out of your Joliet location it is reassuring to know I chose the HONDA brand. thank you, Sarah Flores More

I am a repeat customer to Honda of Joliet. I purchased my vehicle new from another Honda dealer, but have always had it serviced by Honda of Joliet. I had to disconnect my battery in my 2006 Accord. I my vehicle new from another Honda dealer, but have always had it serviced by Honda of Joliet. I had to disconnect my battery in my 2006 Accord. I called the other dealer to obtain the codes for reactivating the navigation system and radio. I could not get the codes to work. Somewhat frustrated, I drove to Honda of Joliet. I explained my problem to the service advisor. He tried the codes but could not get them to work. He felt the code information was incorrect. The service advisor obtained the correct code information and got both my radio and navigation system operating. He put forth a lot of effort to get this job completed. I was very impressed. I was also impressed by how some of the other advisors pitched in with what seemed like a desire to satisfy the customer. This reveals the teamwork attitude engrained in your advisor group. You have a very professional organization. Keep up the good work. More

I drove to Joliet with my wife last Saturday afternoon, June 9th, to watch OPRF beat Lyons Township in the IHSA Class 4A baseball championship game at Silver Cross Field. Afterwards, we walked down to Chi June 9th, to watch OPRF beat Lyons Township in the IHSA Class 4A baseball championship game at Silver Cross Field. Afterwards, we walked down to Chicago Street Pub for dinner and a couple of beers. When we returned to our 2007 Accord V6EXL after dinner (which was parked on Van Buren Street just east of Scott St.) we found that someone had broken in and in the process of trying to steal it, disabled the ignition lock, rendering the car undriveable. After a police officer and evidence technician showed up and did their due diligence, I called AAA Motor Club. and they summoned McCoy's Tire & Auto out of Channahon, which towed my vehicle to Honda of Joliet at midnight. I had never dealt with Honda of Joliet before, being a native of Oak Park. I filled out the service envelope, and noticed when I placed it in the night drop, that the Service Department opened at 7. It dawned on me that the Service Department might be already booked up for Monday, and that they might not be able to get to my car until Tuesday. To my surprise, I was contacted by Roger Frank, ace Service Writer, Monday morning at 7:15. He said that they would be able to check out the problem later on that morning. I got a call from him before lunch indicating that the lock assembly had to be replaced, and that it would cost $600, but they had to order the parts, so it wouldn't be ready until some time on Tuesday. He said it would cost an extra $150 to have my existing keys reprogrammed to fit the new lock assembly, and that would take an extra day. Bottom line: the car was ready before noon on Wednesday, and the final invoice was over $110 less than the verbal estimate I had been given. Thank you Roger! NOW THAT'S WHAT I CALL SERVICE! More
