I had purchased my last Volvo (driving them for 20+years now) from the Autobarn and should have just went back in the first place, but due to proximity to my home, I opted for the other two. Without a doubt, it was worth the ride! More

This was the first time I left with a new vehicle and felt that I was treated fairly by all involved. My other vehicle purchases have been Land Rover, Acura, Infiniti & VW. For all of those dealer purchases I left with a new vehicle but felt like I had been hoodwinked along the way. Liam was very courteous and fair. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is because I had to wait awhile to get into the finance office. That could have been because of someone calling in sick or out of the dealerships control. I highly recommend Liam Berry and Volvo Oak Park. More

Fraud The dealership advertises a car for a certain price on its website. We come in to the store and tell the dealer--that's the one -- the car we want. Finally, after several hours at the dealership, they tell us "this is a demo, and we cannot sell it until it reaches 6,000 miles, but we have another one coming in in several weeks for $10,000 more" More
Very easy and fun experience! I went into the dealership over the weekend and purchased a new 2018 Volvo XC90 with my wife and 4 kids. Seamus could not have been any better. Going to a dealership with kids is never an easy thing to do. He kept things moving and actually made buying a vehicle FUN for myself as well as my family and we really appreciate that. Once a customer,always a customer! I have not been a customer of The Autobarn Group in Chicago in over 8 years , but I know when I need the best advice ~ they'll always be there for me. I purchased a VW from another dealership and had a less than stellar ,post purchase interaction with my salesman at Royal Palm Nissan. My Beetle was missing the lumbar adjust on the driver's side seat. I did not notice it until Sunday afternoon , after I signed my paperwork. I reached out to teh dealership and finally got to speak w/ my salesman. The first words out of his mouth were "well, you did purchase a used vehicle and it was sold AS/IS. There's really not much I can do for you, you signed off on paperwork saying AS/IS"?? I was so taken aback that that was his knee jerk reaction to a brand new customer , who purchased a vehicle just 48 hrs prior! I told him that yes , he was correct and I understand the transaction. I then asked him if he could at least assist me and help me get the part number and approximate cost , seeing that I would now have to purchase and have the missing piece installed myself. He didn't seem too concerned that there was a raw piece of metal sticking out the side of my seat , even when I went to the dealership to show him? I called The Autobarn Volvo , spoke with Rodney Garmon. He remembered me , as being a customer from when he was with The Autobarn VW of Evanston. ?! I explained the situation and he was gracious, empathetic and extremely accomodating. Rodney sent me the part information and pricing in less than an hour?! That is what customer service is and that is why I knew I could count on The Autobarn Group for support. Richard Kirkpatrick knows how to cultivate his team to excellence. I work for 100% Customer Service driven company , so I appreciate the service I received from them.Thank you guys ! More
