My husband and I went into this dealership in Countryside to test drive a 2011 Forester. We saw the excellent rating for safety that the Forester received in Consumer Reports magazine. We were met by Mario, a salesman, when we walked through the door. Mario was personable, accommodating, and easy to work with. We test drove a couple of different Foresters in different colors, with different price points. We had no intention of buying a car that day. However, the dealership ultimately met our price, which we felt was a good deal. We felt compelled to accept the deal right then and there rather than shop around with other dealerships. At the auto show, we received a coupon for a $250 manufacturer's rebate. We applied the coupon once we were done negotiating. The auto purchase was the quickest and least stressful car buying experience that we have ever had, in great part due to the efforts of Mario. The dealership has a small showroom, but they appear to have a large inventory of cars as we were able to look at the Forester in a variety of colors, with a variety of options. My husband and I were very pleased with the dealership, and Mario in particular. We would highly recommend choosing this dealership to purchase your next Subaru. I can't speak to the service department in this dealership, but these people make your car buying experience hassle free. We bought our Forester about 1200 miles ago, and we love it! More

By the end of the day, we purchased an '010 Forester (our 3rd Subaru vehicle) and extended warranty at a very reasonable price compared to other dealers we researched. The sales experience was pleasant and easy with no pressure to buy. Adam Szymanowski was friendly and knowledgeable of each car and model we looked at. As another reviewer mentioned, we felt we were buying a car from a friend. There were no financial surprises when closing the deal. We were given a fair price for our trade in as well. Though Autobarn Subaru is some distance from us and there are other Subaru dealers closer, we will definitely visit them again when shopping for another Subaru. More

The way I know I made the right choice in automobiles is when my mechanic simply raved about my new Forester. When we did decide to buy a Subaru and contacted Mario, he came in early to meet with us. On the day we bought our Forester, Mario again took the time to help us and made us feel more than just customers. He is an asset to this dealership and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. This was my first Subaru after owning 2 Hondas and 1 Toyota. Melissa was great to work with, in person, thru email or phone. I ordered the Forester without having a second thought. When it came to finance the car, Brian did something no other financier had done, offered to negotiate the price of the extended warranty. Overall, with the discounted price shown on the website and great service by Melissa and Brian, no other dealership has come close, not even Honda or Toyota or other Subaru dealerships. I will definitely be buying from Subaru of Countryside again, possibly even replacing my parent's Acura with a Subaru. More
