The Autobarn Mazda of Evanston

My wife and were looking for an SUV. We looked at all of our options and decided we wanted to buy a CX-7. There are many dealerships in our area (Chicago) so she went to the closest one and test drove it, w our options and decided we wanted to buy a CX-7. Leo showed her the car and she liked it alot. I later went back and drove it also. Leo let me drive it for a while which really made up my mind. I then shopped around trying to find the best price. I got different quotes from a lot of dealers and then I was contacted by Lewis from the Autobarn. I was all set to go out of my way to the dealership with the best price when Lewis emailed me. I told him the quote the other dealership had given me and I told him that I would prefer to buy from the autobarn because they were close to my house, but also because I'd been there before and their customer service is very good. Lewis told me he woould run the price by his sales manager (Mike, I think) and I told him that if he matched it I would come in and buy the car that night. He got back to me in a very timely manner and we setup a time for me to come in and buy the car. When I got there Lewis had the car ready for me and I drove it for a bit just to make sure we were good to go. Then my wife stopped by and also ok'ed it. All throughout the process Lewis was extremely helpful and happy to answer all my questions. They ran my credit and everything was good so I took the car home that night. All in all, I was very impressed with my experience and very happy that I chose the autobarn. More

I felt that he didn't want me to be there and was pretty rude, frankly. He is the reason I can't go with all fives. I would recommend this dealership because when we walked in, I was looking for a used 2005 Mazda6, but it wound up not being ready for sale. Lewis was there to help me through and find a new 2011 Mazda3, which wasn't exactly what I had in mind because it was missing the most important feature for my car: alloy wheels. I was about to leave and go back home, but, what made it the best experience was that if you're able to talk long enough, and show you're committed to buying a new car with these guys, they will make sure that you get what you want; they were able to put alloy wheels on the Mazda3 even though it didn't come standard on this model, and yet, they still kept the price within what we wanted. Thus, highly recommended for anyone willing to talk with the salesman. More
