Purchased car with Texas 2021 from Texas Auto when located hwy 3 webster location , referred family mbr and a friend has made purchase at North location. I have always sent car back there for maintenance. Texas Auto has held 2k and car since June 2024 with no completed repairs. I have 2 children that I struggle to get to school ,daycare and school activities due to this situation. This has stressed me out. I have been on edge about deciding whether to repo and lose monies due to them denying the 2k paid for repairs. I have been given the run around for months. This is not ok. I still have no car. What can I do? More
Bought a car here out of state at the end of April 2024 and had nothing but problems with it. I had to put over $5,000 into the car for the following reasons: 1. Cosmetic damage including scuffed rims, and had nothing but problems with it. I had to put over $5,000 into the car for the following reasons: 1. Cosmetic damage including scuffed rims, dented roof, deep scratches in door (Full of Bondo. See attached photo.) sloppy paint job / drip on driver door. (Resulting in me having to replace the entire door and re-do the paint). 2. Car was completely out of alignment. 3. SOS button didn’t work and ended up having to put a brand new radio in because someone previously installed a radio that was registered to a different car 5 years older. 4. there was no manual and no key in the car for the lug nuts on the wheels and had to get them completely replaced. I was told before purchasing the car that there were no prior accidents, which turned out to be false and I was also told that it was the original exhaust which was not true. At the end of the day the best dealership could settle with for me was $500 after repeatedly asking to speak with the GM for weeks. More
Worst experience ever! Found a great deal through cargurus and got pre-qualified and pre-approved through the sales rep who quickly called me back with terms and conditions Found a great deal through cargurus and got pre-qualified and pre-approved through the sales rep who quickly called me back with terms and conditions. Drove 3 hours to look.at the truck and ready to sign, was given the terms, rate and payment again, confirmed and the rep told me to sign that I agreed. Walked less than 25 feet to finance "building" only to be told "the best we can do," was not even.close to the previous agreement. Basically after dealing with finance and the manager, they pretty much lied to me based on my good credit to get me in. What was a great deal ended up being average that I could have got in my own city. Now 2 months later, still no tags or plates so I filed a DMV complaint. Also was told I'd get 2 key fobs, one was missing upon late delievery, and still haven't recieved an update. Plus they delievered my truck on E! Trash service period!! Also beware, list price on website was $34,999, granted my fault for trusting them but truth in lending statement is showing $36,994 price...not the last price. Maybe it's because I bought a used truck from them but if I had to do.it over, I should have walked out from the start of the lies and excuses. More
MOST DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE EVER! !! I purchased a 2019 Silverado back in Dec 2022. I bought remotely (NEVER DO THAT HERE). They shipped the truck to me as promised but it came with !! I purchased a 2019 Silverado back in Dec 2022. I bought remotely (NEVER DO THAT HERE). They shipped the truck to me as promised but it came with many issues. Since having it I have had it in the shop 3 times for transmission work, busted engine mounts, bad brakes, etc. Not only that, but let me tell you how it arrived, even AFTER the PLATINUM PROMISE the offer. All 4 tires worn and needing replaced(my cost), filthy on he inside, busted transmission(has been repaired twice since I have had it), all 4 brakes worn out and had to be replaced, busted and broken arm rest on the door, and NO wheel lock lugs for my wheels...all 4 tires DID NOT have a lug nut(talk about a safety issue)!!! They would not send me new ones but rather had me go buy them myself and get reimbursed. I have been trying for over 7 months to get my door panel fixed and today was the final straw when they finally sent me a replacement, after months of back and forth with Mike the GM, and it came in a busted open box, used, scratched and with broken brackets. The only small saving grace in this process was the extended warranty I bought because that has saved me on the repairs even though Mike wanted me to split the cost of the brakes, which I reluctantly did. AND the warranty sucks because it has to go through such a long approval process that in the 9 months I have owned the truck it has been in the shop for 2 of those months. I would strongly caution you from purchasing here!! Find a reputable dealer!!! I have all the text and email conversations from Mike and his associates with all the false promises. This has been a sad situation because overall I really love the truck but it has become a time and money pit. This was for my new business and all that has gone wrong has prevented me from working jobs at time costing me even more money. More
My husband and I could not be happier about our experiences with Texas Auto North Sales and Service Department. As I said before, the sales department worked with me until we had a deal, we could b experiences with Texas Auto North Sales and Service Department. As I said before, the sales department worked with me until we had a deal, we could both agree on. It wasn't easy but they hung in there with me. That was in December. Then we had our backup camera replaced. Fast and efficient service. But it messed up again annnnnnd! Ms. Terri in the service department came to the rescue. You see, when it went out it was a thursday and my husband was leaving for work in Maine on Sunday. She had the guy out there on Friday morning to fix it for him and on top of that; he asked about buying a spare and when she found out that they sold us the truck without a spare, she found him one a gave it to him! I am so happy with this dealership; I am about to go buy another car from them if they will deal with me again! LOL! It was a little agonizeing for them last time. I love this place! Not sure about the South location but I will drive to North Houston everytime I need a new car! Thanks Texas Auto North for treating people right! I would give you 10 stars if I coud! twerner More
William Perez made the car buying experience so easy with upfront fair pricing. Never stepped foot in the dealership. I wanted the "carvana" experience and he made it happen. I knew the exact car i wante upfront fair pricing. Never stepped foot in the dealership. I wanted the "carvana" experience and he made it happen. I knew the exact car i wanted and two days later it was delivered at my door with a full tank of gas and was super clean. Looked brand new. Kristen in financing was great to work with to get an additional warrenty and gap insurance. Overall a very pleasing experience. William is a responsive and will stay late to get it done. More
I do love the Jeep I purchased from Texas Auto North, but there were some issues with the purchase process and with getting my license plates that were troubling. I purchased my Jeep from Texas Auto North there were some issues with the purchase process and with getting my license plates that were troubling. I purchased my Jeep from Texas Auto North Houston (Harris County) on October 24, 2022. The salespersons and finance manager were friendly and I liked them, but during the purchase process my main salesperson kept emphasizing other persons' interests in the vehicle. I heard several salespersons loudly state from the showroom that there were phone calls for the Jeep. My salesperson pointed out a young man in the showroom saying he was there for the Jeep, too, then took my credit card number to "hold" the Jeep while we completed the paperwork. I thought that was weird and felt uncomfortable about handing over my credit card (though no charges were ever placed on my card). I felt like all the talk from the showroom about the Jeep and having the young man in the showroom was staged and calculated to somehow push me into purchasing. I completed an online form before I went to the dealership to calculate my trade-in value. The value the Dealership quoted me was quite high. After they examined my old car at the Dealership, they offered me about 1/2 the original quote. We discussed that and came to a value we could agreed on and which I thought was a fair trade-in value. When I received the purchase paperwork, I saw the dealership had added about $5,000 to the advertised price for items designated only by initials. I had no clue what those items were and couldn't really get a satisfactory explanation. At that point, I decided not to buy the Jeep, but then they said I could purchase it for the original advertised price (which I had been happy with and was why I came in in the first place). So that whole process was weird and uncomfortable but I'm told is "normal" in auto sales. I had outside financing through my own Credit Union so I cannot comment as to the dealer financing process. The greatest frustration, though, dealt with obtaining my license plates. Texas law requires dealers to process the registration within 30 days if the vehicle is not seller financed (mine wasn't). I did not received plates for 57 days. Here's how that went: On November 17, I called the finance manager, and emailed both the salesperson and the finance manager directly, stating that I had not yet received license plates and asking if I could be sent the completed "Application for Texas Title and/or Registration" so I could take it to my own County Tax Office (Comal County) and expedite getting my license plates on my own. I received no response from anyone to either my email or phone message. On December 5 (6 weeks after purchase!) I received a call from Texas Auto North stating that an application for state official plates was being rejected by the system. I asked them again to please send me the completed "Application for Texas Title and/or Registration". Their response was, "We can't". I asked them to submit an application for regular plates and was told it would be submitted that day. I finally received my plates on December 20 - 57 days after I purchased the vehicle. So, yes, I really love the Jeep I purchased from Texas Auto North. No, I did not like the purchase process. I'm told that the behaviors of the dealership during the sale are standard operating procedure, but the amount of time it took to get my plates was not only unacceptable, it was unlawful. Texas Auto North did not finance my Jeep and was therefore required by Texas law to process my registration within 30 days. More
***BUYER BEWARE*** I spent all day working a deal on a reasonably priced car. Once they run your credit EVERYTHING CHANGES. $5000 in dealer fees for ceramic coating, GPS? Naturally, none of this is disclo reasonably priced car. Once they run your credit EVERYTHING CHANGES. $5000 in dealer fees for ceramic coating, GPS? Naturally, none of this is disclosed prior to the finance manager meeting, and then they will try and negotiate you down. All of this was a headache from the beginning. I didn’t ask for a penny off the price of the car, or a penny more for my trade in. From the get-go, it was bait and switch. Redirecting questions, mischaracterizing information. I have bought many cars; this was by and far the worst. This is a practice called Auto Dealer FRAUD. When a dealer with holds or mischaracterizes information regarding a vehicle that they know, or should know, will affect the desirability or the value of a car. I cannot warn you enough to stay away from this place. Everything about this was the typical, sketchy, used car salesman vibe, coupled with borderline illegal sales practices, finance managers trying to sneak in warranties and gap…GAP with 12k down...I cant warn you enough to find somewhere else to go. This place will bleed you dry. Don’t believe me, drop in for a visit. With financing done, without my signed consent, I walked away. ***VETERANS BEWARE*** More

Less then 2 minutes at the vehicle and it was obvious the car had been repaired. I had been communicating with this dealer for almost 10 days before I headed out there. The car was not clean like they said. No apologies or acknowledgement that the car fax and description provided wasn't accurate. I would not consider using this dealer, I even unsubscribed from Cars.com for recommending such dealerships on their site. This is why people hate used car sales men, you are giving the industry a bad name. More
