A Jeep dealership... that understands Jeeps! When I shop for something, I’m going to look in 15 different places and seek out every coupon, rebate or money back option that exists. I want the best value for my money both today and in the long run. That’s one of the reasons I keep returning to the jeep brand, the value. The other is the capability and culture. I’ve had my loyalty to a brand, but being newer to Ohio, I had not found my loyalty to a dealership. That is until I met Michael Gruen and the rest of the team at Terry Henricks. My search started in bigger cities, I wanted inventory to choose from and a dealership that had the resources to make things happen, I wanted a dealership that could afford to deal and negotiate until we were both happy. As I worked comparing a few dealerships, my price kept going up with every question I asked, I was goIng to be way out of the payment range I set out to achieve and sacrifice options or wait until a jeep to fit my options and budget could be found and then pay for it to get there. I had searched so many of the major car searching engines online, contacted so many dealers, I was ready to give up on my search. Then someone recommended Terry Henricks. I figured I could at least check the website, what did I have to lose? More time? Out of all the inventory out there, Henricks had the jeep that matched my must-have, non-negotiable list, plus a few more options. The price wasn’t terrible to begin with, but not quite where I wanted to be with the extra options I didn’t need or where a few dealerships promised they could sell to me at if they got one available, I just needed to come in. I sent my inquiry online about the Jeep that appealed to me and in no time had contact from Michael. Hebconfirmed the Jeep was there, I could come in anytime to see it. No rushing me to get in today or as soon as possible so “I didn’t lose it”. It didn’t take Michael long to catch on that I’m not the average woman looking for a cute Jeep- I know these things inside and out, I’ve built Jeeps and off-roaded them across the country, I use it for what it’s capable of. I know the market, the options, and I’m financially literate. And that was exactly how he treated me. I asked to get straight to the important part first, before I make this 12 mile drive (versus 45-120 that I previously was looking at), can we talk numbers? I told him what I had already found, what I felt was a fair price in comparison. After a few minutes, he had it all worked out for me to visit with us starting on the same page for price. The Jeep was cleaned and warming up when I arrived that evening. After a nice test drive, I figured “Here comes the part where he gets me hooked on the vehicle and the price and terms start changing”. The only change made was $100 in my favor. No pressure or deception in the sales followed by no pressure or deception in the finance office. What went from a skeptical test drive turned into a purchase. What turned into a purchase is turning into me finding a dealership and sales representative that I feel confident in sending my friends and family to, as well as being a repeat customer myself. More
