Brice, we are sorry you feel this way. We did inform you before purchase that we did not have the charger but were expecting it from the previous owner. The previous owner told us the charger was at home and would bring it in the next day, and obviously never did even after multiple attempts. We tried to order the charger directly from Tesla but they were out of stock. We had an email notification setup to let us know when it would be back in stock. We offered, and you did, charge the vehicle on the dealership charger, whenever you wanted, even after we close at 8:00pm (not a crime) until we found something you could use at home. We did not know when Tesla would have the charger back in stock so we told you we would reimburse you if you found it sooner and that we would get you a temporary charger until we got the original or a new one from Tesla. The non-Tesla charger was meant to be a temporary solution until the Tesla charger arrived, not a substitution. We understand this is not an ideal charger situation and we are continuing to resolve the issue by notifying you of purchase confirmation and estimated delivery dates on the Tesla charger that is being delivered soon. We ask that you do not repeat your behavior on Saturday 9/18 of coming to the dealership to tell other customers how terrible we are and make a scene by yelling and screaming at our staff. Again, we apologize for this situation, have been working towards and are looking forward to delivering our original promise of a Tesla charger. Lester, we are sorry for your experience. Battery testing is standard on all of our used vehicle inspections. If the battery was faulty at the time of the inspection we would have replaced it. The service contract you purchased will cover mechanical failures, not maintenance items, similar to Ford’s new vehicle warranty would not replace a dead battery without a battery test showing a failed battery. If the battery was drained due to something being left on, we can charge the battery for you. It would be odd for the cell to go bad in 3 weeks but we would be willing to test it for you at no charge. If the drain is coming from an electrical issue, your service contract would cover that repair. I am sorry this was not the answer you got when you called. We always strive to take care of our customers after the sale. Thank you for letting us know, this is a learning opportunity for our team so we do not repeat the situation.
