I currently get my Toyotas serviced at Tejas and I was interested in a Toyota Rav4 Prime they had. I started corresponding to Mr. Jonathan Rodriquez and he got very discourteous and told me he didn't nee interested in a Toyota Rav4 Prime they had. I started corresponding to Mr. Jonathan Rodriquez and he got very discourteous and told me he didn't need my business because all I asked for was some detail on the car such as the window sticker. He said the window sticker was too big for him to send and when I asked him if he could take a picture with a camera he got mad at me and said he didn't need my business. I thought it was a legitimate request. I am not sure why the Tejas staff treats potential customers so poorly. More
I have never left a review before. I am doing so because of my experience at Tejas Toyota. I bought a 4Runner in May. In July, I started having issues with my seatbelt. They said they were busy and to make an appointment. So, I did. For 10:00 the next day. This is all in the middle of the work week, mind you. I get there at 10:00, and they say they don’t have me in the system for an appointment. Because of this, I have to wait at the dealership for 2.5 hours. They could not figure out why it wasn’t working, and ordered me a new one. This was covered under my warranty. They said they would call me when the part arrived. I said great. Almost two weeks go by, and I still hadn’t heard anything. I then called, and they said “the part was in the next day. Clint (same guy who allegedly scheduled me my appointment) was supposed to call you. You can come up here to get your new seatbelt.”. I then try to do so, but was again told to make an appointment. So, I made one for 9:00am today. I got there, and AGAIN did not have an appointment. So, I drop my car off (knowing it will be a long time). A few hours go by, and I call the only good employee I dealt with, Harold. He said my car was ready and we’re sitting on Clint’s desk. I go back up there to get my car, and when I got in, my door next to the seatbelt they replaced was all scratched up. Deep scratches are in the plastic. I then tell Clint, who says there’s no way to prove the scratches weren’t already there. I tell him to go get his manager, and that’s when I dealt with Manager Mike. Who also claimed that I probably did the scratches myself and it wasn’t them. I am absolutely livid at this point after keeping my cool through all this. Manager Mike then laughed at the idea of them replacing my scratched up door panel. I still have scratches on my door and was told the best they could do was give it to their detailer to touch-up. Basically, what should’ve taken 1 day of my life ended up being two weeks and delivered with interior scratches. If you live in the Humble area, you should not buy a Toyota, just so you don’t have to deal with this nonsense. More

What a fiasco. Bought a car from Toyota, went in to have some parts that were in the trunk installed and they refused to do it. Told them the four year maintenance plan i had would not be performed by them. Got another dealership (Gullo in Conroe to do the work, who did it with a true spirit of customer service. Avoid these guys as they have bad attitude towards customer service. More
