Mr. Davis I Understand your frustration....I just looked into this issue. The reason Lincoln had to have you come back in on multiple occasions and why you needed to get a few drive out tags is because we were unable to come up with the "Title on your Acura. Without it we were unable to make your deal whole and the paperwork was held up because of it. If you can remember because you were stationed over seas we had some problems finding the location of the Title. We finally tracked it down in Texas. I hate that this added to your recient frustration in service but I can assure you it normally would not take that long on most deals. I would realy appreciate it if you would consider your opportunity to update your review on the sales side of things. Negitive feed back can hurt our reputation bigtime. FIrst, I understand the title thing, but that is not the problem. The problem was that it took several weeks each time before Lincoln contacted me which delayed the process. Second, does your dealership find it professional to text message customers to request additional information instead of placing a phone call? And to ask a customer to come in at a specific date and time, and then not be at work that day? Also, back to the title thing, a salesman from your own dealership said that issues with titles happen all the time, and it is an easy process to get a replacement or lost title. No matter what the issue, taking 4 months to get registration is ridiculous. and based on that experience and the experience with the service department, it is my belief that timeliness and professionalism are not important values to Ted Russell Ford. Lastly, it was known by both the sales personnel and service technicians that I am in the military. Not that I deserve any more respect or customer service than anyone else, but if a servicemember is treated like this, then I can only imagine what other customers experience.
