Super Duty Diesels cost roughly 20K to replace the engine, I won't trust to some "lube house". These are specialized machines that require specialized care & service by people who are trained beyond simple oil changes. I work my truck hard, heavy loads long distances. These guys make sure all the maint. is done right. One visit they took the time to crawl under the truck with me to show me the fuel drain. You simply aren't gong to get that at a local lube house. I began taking my 2011 F250 to the Ted Britt Truck Center soon after they opened. I mainly dealt with Bob Justus and Michael Gall both of whom always treated me with respect and did a good job explaining th soon after they opened. I mainly dealt with Bob Justus and Michael Gall both of whom always treated me with respect and did a good job explaining the work needed/performed. Michele Trankovich also did an excellent job handling a billing issue for me as well. One huge advantage to Ted Britt's Truck Center is the loaner program. They are the only dealer I have ever come across that has not just 1/2 ton trucks, but 3/4 and 1 ton trucks for use as loaner vehicles. This can make all the difference in the world to so many owners who rely daily on their trucks and need them to keep their businesses running. I have personally recommended them to three different owners based on this and all seemed stunned they offered this service. Understandably the amount of loaner trucks is limited so call ahead and ask. I'd have to unfortunately rate their price at a (3) - OK, due to having my vehicle in for repairs that generally should not have occurred on a vehicle of it's mileage and were not covered under warranty. I paid over $1200 for a new radiator at around 60K miles and $800 for a new DEF tank soon there after just because the heater went bad. All in all not the dealership's fault but Ford's "Built Tough" reputation to me was tarnished after these issues and I have been looking at both Dodge and GM for my next diesel work truck. The new 6.7L diesel seems to be reliable for its supporting parts seem lacking in quality. For those looking to "delete" these costly and irritating emissions systems from their trucks, I did not gauge the dealers opinion on continuing to honor the warranty on unrelated items. I would not hesitate to recommend Ted Britt's Truck Center at all. I feel their staff is more than competent than your average dealership, especially when it comes to diesel trucks. Unfortunately the big price tag on a diesel seems to equal big repair bills as well. I wish them the best and if I again own a Ford would not hesitate to return here for service. More
