Everyone was extremely nice and very helpful. We had been in the dealership a few days earlier and met with Henry, who was nice enough to have a car delivered for from the outer lot so we could see the been in the dealership a few days earlier and met with Henry, who was nice enough to have a car delivered for from the outer lot so we could see the explorer with light interior and white exterior. He called me in advance and we drove out to see the vehicle. He had it waiting for us as soon as we arrived. Once we saw the vehicle we started to get a bit confused as we already had or plan in place to go with the Range Rover LR4. Since we were a bit indecisive, Rob was asked to provide us with extra attention and he began to pulled several cars with various option right to the door for us to review and compare. Eventually my wife fell in love with the Explorer Limited but had to have bucket back seats and I had to have the tow package. Next thing we knew he was pulling up with exactly the car she and I both wanted. We made financial arrangements in about 15 minutes and then we were turned over to the helpful hands of Claudia and Nina. I should mention this was now 9 pm and we arrived at 8pm. Everyone worked hard to get the car pulled together explain the options to me, as my wife had already gone home. The next day my wife came back over to provide the down payment and Dario and Rob spent about 45 minutes helping my wife understand all the features. It was the personal touch, knowledgeable individuals and attention to details that swayed us away from the LR4 and into the Explorer. We love the car!! More
Overall experience was fine -- most of all, the people were superb. Mike (sales) was patient, informative and pleasant, and was not a "high pressure" or "in your face" type of person, which was a wonderf were superb. Claudia was wonderful as well (pleasant and no nonsense), as was Christine (despite me being tired). We brought a 6 week old child into the dealership, and it was late, and we were even there longer than expected -- they allowed us to change the baby in a private place,went out of their way to just be personable and nice and helpful to move the sale along and ensure my wife and kid were calm and cool. The price on the vehicle I bought was a good one as well, and I am satisfied with that aspeect. That said, I do have one significant complaint -- the car (used) was advertised at 28,900+ miles. Upon arrival, the vehicle had more than 30,100 miles. This was clearly not due to test drives over the month it was on your lot. Clearly someone there was using it regularly for all manner of things and put more than a thousand miles on it in just over a month, which took value out of my pocket on the vehicle. Frankly I thought this unprofessional and it really pissed me off. In conjunction with a few other issues -- this vehicle had no spare key, no valet key, no manual, and a few other minor things (some covered by warranty) -- it was almost a deal killer for me. This largely worked out, and the people and price were superb, but there was a bit of a bad taste left with me by the condition of the vehicle. He was very helpful, and got me the best deal that he could. I also really enjoyed working with Joey as he gave me a very understandable breakdown of my finance and service options and got me to a point that I felt was an affordable option for me. He was also very friendly and accomodating. Everyone was willing to answer my questions, Mike, Christine, Joey, Dario, so it was an excellent car buying experience and probably the most pleasant that I have had in purchasing a car and I can really appreciate that. We went here on Presidents Day Weekend in the market for a used truck / a Ford Fusion which we have been wanting for a while now. It was packed because it was a holiday weekend so it took us awhile before we were able to get help. Mike ended up helping us and he was very friendly and very honest about the cars. He sat with us for a long time helping us find what we were looking for and answered all of our questions and concerns. We had to wait forever to get our paperwork through and to be able to meet with someone regarding financing, but Mike sat there with us an had a friendly conversation while we waited. Even though it took forever, we were pleased with the customer service and with Mike's attentiveness. I ended up purchasing a used Fusion and Mike called me the next day to follow up with us and make sure everything was running smoothly. I love the car and am very happy. Next time though I probably will avoid trying to purchase a used car on a holiday weekend. I would recommend this dealership and Mike to anyone in the market for a new car/truck. More
Lisa went out of heresy to sell the truck. I called and said I would be there in 30 minutes and only had 45 to get out the door. She made it happen. Was a great experience. Overall my car buying experience was quite good. There were really only 2 things that kept me from saying it was great. But first the positives: 1) The staff was wonderful. Mike was straight-forward were really only 2 things that kept me from saying it was great. But first the positives: 1) The staff was wonderful. Mike was straight-forward, honest, and a nice guy. He helped me over the phone for a couple days before we were ready to come in and buy and was very responsive and helpful. Claudia (customer service) and Leilani (Finance) were the most chipper, bubbly people I have ever met at a dealership and really helped keep our energy up through the process (see below for why this was necessary). All the people we met were fantastic, hence the great ratings for friendliness and customer service. 2) The dealership is very nice, clean, they have some complimentary hot drinks etc. 3) The customer service on the car was great, they took our old plates off for us, put the temps on, even pulled the new car into a covered area so we did not have to get wet from the rain when taking the new car. Now the two things that prevented a "great" overall experience. If my expectations are incorrect here, then take that with a grain of salt as you read this but: 1) It took us 4 hours to buy the car. We were pretty worn down by the end of it. Like I said, Claudia and Lani were so energentic for 8pm that it helped perk us up, but the 4 hours included a lot of waiting for someone to meet us. Once we did get to see customer service or finance, they were efficient and friendly and great folks. It just seemed like a lot of dead time waiting between steps. If my expectation is totally off base and you expect to spend 3-4 hours to buy a car, then ignore this, but we were there on a Tuesday evening, so I thought it might have been a little faster 2) We kind of took a bath on our trade-in. We took well below trade-in blue book because we just had no logistical way to hold onto the trade in car. The engine was making some noise, and so maybe it really was worth that far below blue book, but I am not a mechanic so I don't know. Also, we did not get to ever speak with the people assessing the value, it was all relayed to us 2nd hand as "this is what they guys who assess the car are saying". All I know is I went in with one expectation of price and was offered significantly less, and whether or not this is valid (it may have been), it made my car buying experience somewhat less satisfying. The price on the vehicle itself was indeed great, we drove way out to chantilly from DC just to go to Ted Britt becuase their prices were better than other Ford dealers in the area. We were just a bit surprised about the trade-in offer. However, overall I would recommend this dealer, and each of the people we worked with highly. I would buy from them again. I just might not do a trade-in :) More

I am writing this review to offer kuddos to Ted Britt Ford in Chantilly. My overall car buying experience was great. They were so professional that I ended up buying two vehicles from them in a 3 month p Ford in Chantilly. My overall car buying experience was great. They were so professional that I ended up buying two vehicles from them in a 3 month period. The sales Manager Dario and the two Sales associates I worked with (Mike Asay and Carlos) were all equally great. Surprisingly even the person who helped me with financing my two vehicles Christine was a joy to work with. I say this because the financing part is usually the most dreadful part of the car buying experience. Christine was very helpful in obtaining financing even with my not so good credit. I highley recommed checking them out if you are looking to buy a Ford. More
